Hi Guys,

I want to lower my tt-01 for racing, i only have the shocks that came with the kit (yes the cheap ones) keep reading about spacers to put in the shocks to shorten the amount of length the shock will travel.
what are this spacers? are they a tamiya part?

If you are going to race your tt-01, you don't need spacer. You need modified shocks-

Why not just get some black wheels? Anything HPI makes they make in black.

Hey if anyone is interested, I found that hpi makes a really nice line of .6metric pinions that fit the tt-01 spur pitch perfectly, I'm now running a 31/55 pinion/spur combo with a 7700 kw motor and the speed is insane. In case anyone was looking for some more range in gearing.

Who is useing GPM steel universal shafts on aTT-01? Did you need GPM steel drive cups or the Tamiya steel cups to make it work. GPM uni shafts look very well made.Mine with stock inner cups bind up. Thanks for any info.

so right now my radio is 27mhz, can i change it to say 72mhz by just swappin crystals?
Depends; some systems you can change the freqs, some you can't. Best bet is to check with the manufacturer.

ORIGINAL: Jem93
and will that also give me a further range my car can go before it doesnt recieve the radio signal anymore?
Changing from 27 to 72 megahertz won't change your range; changing from AM to FM will. Freq-hopping is mainly for getting away from RFI from surrounding sources of interference and/or reducing freq congestion at the track.

-Dave

Good question I really cant tell, I would think that you would have to change the cups too because the stock ones are so over sized for the dog bones, I use the Tamiya universals and the optional cups
