Here's a good start. This is a Barbie Doll that I picked up for $9. Had to cut her off right below the bustline, but it works. You should have seen my wife's reaction when she saw what I brought home from the store. She asked me if I was getting weird er something.

RE: Really "Cool Virtual Cockpits"
Hey guys,
I just have to comment on how much i love this product Kregg has produced. They are absolutly stunning. For some time now i was thinking there has got to be a better way af creating a realistic cockpit other than cheap plastic 25.00$ dashboards that look like crap inmo. Kregg has really nailed it. I ordered my first virtual cockpit for my 35% toc yak about a week ago. They look even better in person!! The detail is amazing. Right down to the lables on all the switches ie. smoke, radio even warning lables! I am so excited that someone actually took the time to create such a inventive product. I think we all owe kregg big time for this. We all need to suport the small companys like kregg's because without them we would'nt have great products like the Virtual Cockpit. I don't rember what i paid but i would have paid double! I ordered onther today for my 30% yak. I'm not quite finished with them but when im don i will post some pics, not that they will do it justice. They are much better in person if you can belive it!
Thanks Kregg
Dave

RE: Really "Cool Virtual Cockpits"
Looking at the KMP website http://www.kmp.ca
I am not supprised to ""Not find the 85 inch Extra."
It is my belief that the 85 inch KMP Extra and Edge which were sold on Ebay were originally ordered to Extreme Flight along with an 87 inch Yak 54. When EF refused the order they went to other distributors or wound up at Ebay.
I sent KMP an email asking for spare parts and will be curious what they say.
Kregg, the plane really is nice. Needs some better detail on covering and I went over some of the construction...I can see why it was not up to EF's extreme quality but what can I expect for a $240 dollar ARF? Mine came in at 17 lbs dry and floats better than a trainer, will hover at about 1/3 throttle and has great control authority. I recently bought some carbon fiber stuff and with battery change will take it down to just over 16 lbs dry.

Hi.
Thank to Kregg,
I finally got my fantastic Virtual Cockpit.
It is very simply but effecive.
The installation on a Comp-Arf is a bit more challenging, but I really enjoy this work.
It takes only one night.
Now I am waiting for my 30% foam pilot.
Here are a picture of my 2.3 Comp-Arf 330L cockpit (JR Version). I will show my complete Virtual Cockpit later.

Jhmin,
It's great to hear from you all the way in South Korea! Thats one of the very nice parts of this enjoyable work. I have been shipping my Virtual Cockpits all over the world. I just might have to make a few international business trips in the coming years. He He. I'm having fun! I also have a few good size retailers at this point, though I'm still selling these direct as well. Thanks everyone!

RE: Really "Cool Virtual Cockpits"
I just wanted to add some pictures of my Hanger 9 Extra 330 cockpit, as provided by Kregg at wrightrc. I was EXTREMELY satisfied with the quality of the product and his attention to customer service. We communicated a few times via email, and I sent him my cockpit template and pilot with some notes and digital pictures (as shown in post) and when I returned from a business trip, it was waiting on my desk at home. It really looks nice up close, and from a couple of feet away it's totally convincing! Thanks again Kregg, job well done. And he now has a "template" for the Hanger 9 Extra 330 he can use for other customers.

RE: Really "Cool Virtual Cockpits"
What a great product!!! I got my cockpit kit for my Goldberg Pitts model 12 last night and luckily the pilot I ordered from litepilots.com was also in the mail box, so naturally I couldn't wait to get to work. Installed both in less than an hour, and what a great look. Kregg, you're a genius! This is the best finishing touch for any plane. I can't wait to get down to the field and show this off!!!
I'll try to post some photos as soon as I figure out the procedure.

Just finished istalling the kit in my QQ YAK-54 72". The templates needed zero alterations and fit perfectly. My only downside is that the kit went behind a smoked canopy. [&o] This makes the second plane in my hangar that is fitted with Kregg's designs and will be getting one for my next venture as well!
