The screws around those wheels makes them look like some really sweet 3 piece racing wheels like Fitapaldi or something. I havent even mounted a set of rubber bands on my Pegaso wheels yet. :-(

OK, heres the details...... It is a FG Competition from Ropas. He runs a hobby shop in Holland, and sells the FG Competition for hundereds of dollars less than anywhere else I have found it. I actually am thinking about selling the truck body and wheels/body mounts/bumpers. If you interested, PM me!

If I didnt answer your question, feel free to ask more questions I like answering. When I first stareted getting interested in 1/4 scale and until I met Ropas, I had a really hard time getting anyone to tell me the details about the details....

FLYPATTERN I dig your car but the area behind you looks like it might contain tools used for fabricating. :stupid: Did you build your car from scratch?

Well which one? To say all 5th scales handle crappy is most certainly coming from someone WITHOUT firsthand knowledge of the QUALITY 4th/5th. You really think a car that has 4 wheel HYDRAULIC DISK brakes handles like ****? Why, do the hydraulic disk brakes not work in your car, or on the F1 racecars? PLEASE! 5th scale has some of the most high tech brakes/engines available, and are also some of the most expensive too! Whens the last time you paid $$$3,500.00 for a CRAPPY handling FG car? Sure maybe some cheap $900.00 HARM handles like SH$T, but if your talking about 5th scale cars in general handling baddly, you are WAY MISINFORMED!

Fg is certainly one of the better 5th scale models, but HARM, Technokit, New Era, MCD, Etc. all have quality cars. To be honest the hydraulic brakes are arent needed. I had the Competition FG which has cable operated disk brakes, and they worked GREAT! I am sure the hydraulic are MUCH better, but the cables work good too. I supose in comparison to a 235MM Serpent thay are lacking in handling, but so is a Indy car compared to a 1/10....lol

I think some of Bergonzonis upper line cars are priced nice, and are pretty good quality for what you pay too. They are probably the ideal starter car to be honest, sorry I forgot to mention that brand! Anything equiped with a Zenoah 23CC engine is a great powerplant, too. Just something else to look for.
