out of excuses!!!???
Well my thumb is healed, and with some trepidation I will very soon be putting my Talon up for it's maiden flight. It has been a couple of years now since I stuffed the Starfire/turbine. So I am arranging the use of a nearby full scale airport and hoping for a nice cool morning to do this. Air density altitudes around here have been in the 10 to 15,000ft range so it will need to be early one morning.
Peter that looks sweet!!! Nice job on the plane!!!

You should be fine, may I suggest not using full flaps as suggested, or at least try them very high, take off flaps setting worked very well for take off and during flight.
40 degrees needs testing and probably creates excessive drag.
Anyway, good luck and looking forward to hearing from you and seeing some pictures.

Sent you an email.
Well believe it or not, I flew from our Mississauga MMFC club by Meadowvale Blvd, not a good site for jets, heck it is not even a good site for anything beyond 25% these days because of the dog leashfree zone now added to one end of the runway and all sorts of obstructions. I was flying my 33% CAP the other day and I was uncomfortable dur to lack of air space.
I have just bought the AV8r from PCM because this is the typical jet fun flier that needs no special fields.
I envy these Florida, Michigan, California and fair weather state fliers because they can go fly anytime they want and have great paved runways.
Glad you recognized EICAS for what it is.
