RE: VX Hydro
I've fitted a new key thanks to Radman but things are not cool.
There is run out ( not concentric ) i.e the the flexi moving up and down.
I have scraped out the high spots in the rotor but not having a lathe this is as far as I can go.
The crank needs to be checked between centres and if it's true a knew rotor will need to be brought.
So back to Radman he now has the motor and checking it out.

Mart, it's not that small but there again it's not massive but we are holding many race events this season.
(All down to driving skills.)
I've had a few weeks off problems ( family bereavement ) and now back on the case.
Hydrag is nearly built and the new SG 35 mono is coming on.
Andy
And your round nose look superb

Andy,
who does your video work?
It's the best I have seen so far!
The camera angle is perfect, and the way he uses the zoom, simply amazing!
He should be working on that next big flick in Hollywood, not running film of boats in Egham Surrey.

Replacement rotor has arrived along with the R254 kit
and spare parts.

RE: VX Hydro
The R254 kit not fitted yet.
But I have another vid, Tony''s ( Radman ) VX in a race with 2 CMB 90''s.
Both CMB''s go out ( shame ) and the VX carries on at part throttle. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxFDJs32p6
Not the normal camera man here but worth a look.

Nice to see this speed on the VX, it´s a "lot" faster than the CMBs.
What prop are you runing in the VX?
Do you have any setup tips to share?
I haven´t run my VX, it´s still ice on the lakes in the North Sweden.
But in a 2-3 weeks or so i think i can have it runing in some lake.

Thanks for the info, happy that the R254 engine/cylinder fit´s under the covel, dont want to cut in the painting.
I have a RCMK H767 to start so it should be okej and i vill try some other to for ex a 6518/3.
It´s just the ice on the lakes thath has to melt away, - the bathingtub seems to smal for that speed.
