Yup, it'll work.. in fact, it will work well..
I think you will be able to get 40 minute flights with the stock battery also..
Listen to these guys, they know what they are talking about..

RE: first person view heli
oh lol
well i think this caliber heli i listed for sale on rcu thats rtf is a good choice he said to put on a extra tank to keep it flying longer and is a good choice for a camera platfrom i would just forget the canopy so i can put my equipment on.
also i found out that hobby lobby is selling these wireless camera system with goggles but no head tracking for like 549 but i think ill go with hobby wireless.com instead cause they have everything i need and i found a few 7 cap transmitters here on rcu as well i think i will pick myself one. this all will be closer to the end of the year before i get it i have a to get a gps unit for my 2nd job to pay off thats why im asking ahead of time. i am going to do this no doubt just have to wait. a little longer thanks yall for the inputs. and the jokes

RE: first person view heli
I had a blade CX wired up to a wireless camera, only weighs like 9grams, I powered it with the 7.4v lipo, onboard rather than giving it another pack and adding weight.
It was a cheap camera and the video quality really sucked, then I crashed and killed the camera within a few days.
Just don't fly outside, the wind blew it into a hanging flower pot and the double sided tape I used to attach it to the 4in1 unit came loose, when the camera popped off the blades hit it.

CRAZYRYAN,
Do realize that your going to need to be very good with this thing before you try doing any first person flying? If you have never flown a Heli before you may want to hold off on the camera equipment and pick up some spare parts for the inevitable crashs your going to have just learning to fly a Heli. I had several years flying planes before I started with Helis and its taken me two years of flying to get to the point where I'm doing fast forward flight. I only had 3 crashes in that time that where related to pilot error. Learning times vary but juding by the chats on RCU with other guys that started out around the same time I did that was fairly quick.
