We now have 17 pre-registered pilots, several RV's and 15 tent spaces rented, and as of today (Saturday) the forecasted weather looks promising for next weekend!!! Please page Rick at 1-877-445-6353 by Sunday evening if you need a last minute tent rental.
Field preparations are now underway, the field looks great and our club is working very hard to bring you a first class event!

See you then!

Have fun everyone. I'm down 22 lbs since surgery but it's still to far for me to ride. Buddy, Jimmy and Harold are passing it up this year as well since Eric 's passing and myself having surgery they just don't want to go; All of the other MD guys from the DCRC club are coming though. We'll be there next year for sure though.

Hi Jim,
Sounds great!! I'm so glad that you and Chris will be able to make it!!! We might just have a midnight owl or two on campus. But either way you should see a number of campers and RV's parked on the back end of the flight line...
Drive safe and bring lots of Jet A-1!

Hi Pete and Mark,
The $25 camping fee is for four nights and is paid straight to our property owner. We will be having a Saturday night banquet at the Kutztown Tavern, which is the same location for last year's banquet. The Kutztown Tavern is a casual, upscale restaurant featuring contemporary American cuisine with a local flair and handcrafted microbrews from their on-site brewing company. KT seemed to be very well recieved last year and the food was great!
Pete, I hope you can make our event! Mark, I know that you and Larry will be there... See ya soon[sm=wink_smile.gif]

Thanks Ron,
We'll miss you guys for sure but totally understand your situation. We hope that you have a speedy recovery and afterwards, please come up to fly at Farview this Fall when you feel much better!! I thought it would have been so cool if you guys could have brought Erik's Ultra to the event to proudly display his work of art to the public. Allot of guys have asked about Eric and his Ultra Bandit and they would have all enjoyed seeing it.
We're glad to hear that several of the other MD guys from the DCRC club are coming to the Jet Jam.
Dave "TG" McQueeney!! How the heck are you doing? So do you need a tent rental or what? [sm=tongue_smile.gif] We might have one or two left......

Rick that was the plan if I could have come. I'll be in touch about coming up later in the year. next year I'll have 7 weeks of vacation to use up. Getting time off to go to events will be much easier with the must use or lose it vaction time that we now have at my company. looks like three straight days of rain followed by a really nice weekend. have fun everyone!

Guys..
Thanks to all of our club members who spent most of the day prepping the field for the jet event. Berky and Billy spent 8 plus hours rolling our field with a 20 ton impact roller with great results. The field has never looked better. The forecast is looking great for the next four days with lots of sun and temps in the low 70's.
Our club hosts a great event and has one of the nicest model airparks in the northeastern part of the great USA...

Well if the weather was as nice up there as it was here today you guys should have had a great day. I hope someone posts pictures. Please say hello to everyone at the pilots meeting for me and the rest of our gang, let them know I am doing ok and down 27 lbs in the last 2 weeks.
