trust me drop a BL in there and all your friend will want one! Its so much more fun when your car can out run most real cars, or knowing that you can break the speen limits on the streets with a 1/10 car lol. Well worth the money.

If you dont win the eZrun there are a few other BL set up that are a only a little bit more, you might want to look into them

eZrun 9T - Cheepest, but still good for the price
Traxxs VXL - Little bit more, Grate support
Castles Sidewinder - Still a bit more
Castles Mamba - Alot more, but really good and grate customer service.

Thos are some of the better ones out there.....im sure someone else will clue in and add to the list. I know that SICC is running the Traxxas one and he likes it.

Remember there are many more options when it comes to brushless. It has been a long time since I ran my TT-01. It is bone stock other than bearings & threaded shocks off my Colt10.

Electronics -
MTroniks Truck Genesis ESC (Fits perfectly in the stock platic tray for the ESC.)
Hacker C40 6T motor
2S LiPo

Runs like a dream. [>:][&:]

I'd say just make sure you buy the TT-01E model...they seem to have fixed most of the gripes with this version, at least for basher use...maybe just change the stock tires...

That or the Drift spec TT-01D comes with upgraded motor, adjustable arms, oil filled shocks and bearing kit. Only upgrade to consider from there is an alu shaft and motor mount but neither is essential. Ofcourse it will have drift tyres so if your planning touring a new set of pre glued wheels and tyres will get you up and running for £10.

thanks for the quick replies dudes, im actually planning to get the GT-R R35 TT-01 Type E package, along with all the stuff from tower(hobbies)...how long would u suppose i could run the whole thing on stock supplies before my equipment starts wearing? (i am old enough to take care of my things, especially something worth $200+!)

another question that i have at the moment is, does anyone have some sort of tutorial or instructions as to taking care of my (future) RC? im really hoping this thing lasts coz of my restricted access to a credit card

thanks again everyone!

I have a question. Will the parts from the Type-E fit the older TT-01 chassis. I need to replace the shock tower/diff cover and like the newer parts better.

it fitted but I expected to be much faster than 540 size...it's even label like 12T, and with a 12T 540 sized, it will fly...[:-][:-][:-]

550 size will have more torque....thos are the kinda motors you would find in a E-Revo or Emaxx. The 540 ones would be in something like a slash, it would have more speed.

Hey guys, please forgive me for being lazy and not wanting to read through 200 pages of posts, but could someone who owns the 3Racing graphite chassis conversion kit tell me a little something about motor/pinion adjustment? Does the motor mount allow for more motor/pinion combinations than the stock settings? With the 25/55 gears the highest (lowest numerically) FDR we can get is 5.72...and I wanna run closer to 4.2 for VTA class fun...any ideas?

Thanks,
-M

The three racing chasis gives you more options for gearing but you will have to change to a 48 pitch gearing set. Right now I am running a 65t spur 39t pinion which gives me a FDR of 4.4 I think but I am haing some heating issues so had to rebuild the car and clean all my bearings. Check out the rctech.net forum for more info. I think the gearing discussion starts from post number 825

when it comes to speed biggest is not the fastest - that rule only applies to nitro-not electric
