Hey, anoyone can answer this question.
Anyone tried to use a Tamiya Universal drive shaft for TT-01's. Looks like they both have the same lengths.
Thanks

If you mean f/r being the same, yes they are the same length. But from what I have seen out there usually folks prefer to only use the lightweight (alloy) shafts in the rear and use the steel ones in the front. The steel ones are a teensy bit heavier, but don't bend as easily in a crash. The old TL-01 universals fit, but are prolly heavier than the newer CVD style most folks sell nowadays, and the CVD's can be rebuilt if need be.

Oh yeah, my bad, I forgot the non-letter cars (TT01-E/D/R) had those big plastic cups...yeah, to convert the fat plastic bones to steel bones just use the 50823 wheel axle (1 pair), 50883 for the standard dog bone (1 pair, same for TL01, TT01 TG10, TB01, TA04) and 53790 cup set (for standard gear diff) or 53806 cup set if you have the ball diff. For the front just pick up the universals (same as TL01) and the 53790 or 53806 cup set and you are good to go.
