RE: Official Tamiya TT-01 Thread
if you got to practice alot it wouldn't be a problem, the tt-01 can practically handle it with a few of aluninum parts in it for added weight,
you part of groovydrift? where you race at?

Hi, been reading through some of the posts and seen some sexy cars and i am now very tempted to pick up a Ezrun 9t brushless system for £50 off ebay Please tell me if it is worth it and my tt-01 is nearly stock at the moment just with aluminium driveshaft, bearing set and aluminium bumper plate. S would it handle the power of the brushless 9t system? Thanks

Thanks mate, that really helps. And i love the look of your car, when i scrolled back through the forums i saw that and your real life Civic. I will probably order it now so it should arrive in about 10 days from hong kong. £50 = $89 CANADIAN DOLLARS. So mine will cost a little more but thats fine.

RE: Official Tamiya TT-01 Thread
I am searching for a motor mount mod for the Tamiya TT-01. I have a full range of Tamiya pinion gears in my tool box and instead of me purchasing some new set of pinion for this kit, I'd rather use my current spares.
Now my question is, is there any motor mount where you can use virtually all Tamiya specific pinions from 19T and over without the need to change spur gears. Are there any available mods for this ?
I am raising this question as I have a Yokomo MR4TC and I can use different 48 pitch pinion gears from 19T and over.
Any help will be appreciated.

There is no way to mod the TT-01 and use 48 pitch gears in the stock form. You would HAVE to get the 3Racing chasis upgrade, which I did. I am actually using 64 pitch gears 65 spur 39 pinion.

I got mine from ebay. They are very hard to get tho. It took me about 4 moths to find one and i payed an arm/leg for mine. Tamiya makes them well they did up untill 1994. Try searching "Tamiya EG Civic Body" or something along thos lines! Good luck in your search.

Hi guys, just started upgrading my TT-01d and was after some advice. I see that GPM make alloy arms for the tt-01 and adjustable for the tt-01d, is the adjustment needed for drifting or would the fixed ones be good enough? My concern was mabye the adjustable ones will get sloppy and create the same probs as the stock ones...
Any advice will be appreciated.

Ok, i have ordered a cheap one from hong kong anyway. But i am not gonna wait for that to arrive before i install brushless now. I've decided on turning Mr Brushless into a drifter. Because i already have my racer.
