might be your motor cogging, is it sensorless/sensored? or the prop shaft has play inbetween the cups and shaft, maybe.....

It's a Ebay find, don't know all the details about this body, I think it was a part of a kit that Tamiya made.

Kind Regards.

I will check the play but what do you mean by the motor cogging, it is a sensored motor.

i have read that brushless motors have difficulty on start up, something to do with the magnets having to figure out where to start...not 100% sure. i am running a sensored motor with a sensorLESS ESC, so i have cogging upon start up. check the [link]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNVz70H4l68[/link]THIS, it's a video clip i shot to illustrate "cogging" it's a rattle/hesitation/delay that only lasts a moment.

on a side note, i figured out the reverse problem! i turned OFF the ABS setting and it reverses now! stoked!
thanks.

WOW! thanks for the video man, that is almost exactly what it does, it does that when i get on the throttle very hard and fast, while its standing still.

no problem, i have read every single page of this forum and it has been so helpful, just thought i could help too.
yea, just ease into the throttle, it's annoying, but nothing can really be done i think. this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLmCe...eature=related is a good watch too, lots of factors....

I got the sport tuned tamiya motor (black motor) in my TT-01. Also got the stock Tamiya ESC. I would like to upgrade the motor. Can anybody give me advice on what motor I should by for this drifter. I do not want to change the ESC at this point.

Its HPI's newest Porsche 997 200mm body, the light buckets are off a tamiya body tho there not stock.

cydog510 Its bent like that to keep it under the body. I dont like the way it looks sticking out.
