RE: Official Tamiya TT-01 Thread
I fitted one of the silvery flat rings outside at the screw, so it should hold up for some time I hope.
Anyway, here's some pics from when I changed to my Venom motor. Sorry for the bad quality of pictures, was taken with my phone. Also the car is very dirty, will pull it all apart sometime and clean it up

Some Deans plugs on the motor to ESC wires would be good too.

those HPI x-pattern radials you have are GREAT, soft and grippy as hell.i am runnin em right now with the newly installed ball diff, universals and 3 degree toe in on the rear, holds very well at speed, also just finished a new body and changed gearing from 25/55 to 22/61, amazing acceleration, decent top speed, and no ht motor/esc, 25/55 is definately over gearing. next i will try 22/58, see if there is no overheating, as the 22/61 doesn't have the greatest top speed.

yeah, as far as i have seen, check the bay, they have package deals. aluminium bends, doesn't have much give, plastic does, something to consider, i just now bent one of my front arms beyond use/repair, back to the og one i guess.

it makes your car look damn shiny. but i guess all the parts wouldnt be needed. from what i learned from me driving my revo and rc18t, having a strong front area helps, along with an aluminum driveshaft, and dog bones.

"Just don't crash and you'll be OK." how would crashing hurt em... you mean flipping?
i have done a few new mods, got the rear stabilizer, and a carbon front shock tower stiffener, an additional slim heatsink for the motor i also was having an issue with ESC overheating (it's been a hot summer here), so i got the yeah racing tornado fan, it is serious, great amount of cool air running through the heat sink.
also ben messing with rallying ,haven't done the ride height mod, just tamiya rally blocks, taping off the bottom holes and fabricating a dust/gravel cover with mesh covered ventilation holes (the cover fits flush when i remove the stabilizers), the rally block tires are incredible, even with the ride height stock it powers through grass, gravel and dirt, not to mention the brushless just pushes through it all, beat the lancer body, oh well that's what they're for! if anyone is in need of parts, let me know, perhaps i have spares....

I can not make it out for sure but if i am correct about the shocks your using then they just pop on and off. The do not screw on like most shocks do. Nothing wrong with it but eventually if you are popping them on and off the plastic will give an it can eventually pop off on its own. If your greatly concerned then I guess you could get the shock holder or use a long screw with washer that goes through the shock and shock holder and into the shock tower itself.

RE: Official Tamiya TT-01 Thread
Here are some pictures of my TT-01 Finished. I finally got to take it today and dam what a difference i dont know about you all but changing the pieces to aluminum made the car handle much better and grip better. I did all the pieces at once so i really dont know what helped it if it was one part or all but i love it.
Do you guys have any advice on a low budget Hudy device or what would be a cheap way to dial my car in as far as camber, toe etc.?
Let me know what you all think and cut me some slack on the Body it was the first one i cut and paint.
