Another good thing to stock up on would be clutch bearins, ther stock ones go pretty quickly, and it's only like $10 for a bag of replacements. A Main has them.

Chassis braces are here:

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/4457

and the clutch bearings I can't seem to dig up right now, plus it's late. They're linked either earlier in this thread, or in the Jammin/Hong Nor thread over at truggyracers.com.

ok so besides the bumper, I finally managed to break some stuff.

1. Antena tube.

2. Wing mount.

3. front lower A-Arm.

Of course, this was at the end of the day after 3 heats of racing (i got spanked but I'm 1st overall in points) Someone decided to break out the 4x8 sheet of plywood to
stand behind and put on top of the jump which is allready 3 ft high.

Man I hit that thing at about 3/4 speed holy shiznit it fly's nice at any hight lol tried doing a nice lazy single back flip almost made it.

second attempt tried same again broke wing mount.

third said screw it the people were lovin' it so went for double almost made it possibly broke the a-arm then

fouth try landed the double!! not bad, few people said I was about 15-16 ft each launch but retarded distance

I didnt realize the a-arm was broken until I went out for a few laps to fun race a few buggy's

My carbon fiber held up nice, no chassis bends or stress cracks on anything I love my CRT!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm gonna try and find someone with footage

There is no "factory settings" for the novarossi's, they are "pro" level engines and usually they wouldnt have a problem getting it running.

Mine are set at:

3 1/2 turns out on the HSN
3 3/4 turns out on the LSN
Set the idle to roughly the thickness of a penny or credit card.

I would go a tad richer just to be safe, I havent ran mine in a couple of weeks.

It's a good plug to use if your having problems getting through breakin or you are using fuel that is not real fresh but in the summer you will get false high temp readings off of the plug.

I'm currently using this plug and engine combo with a 20% nitro fuel and I have no issues.

i just finished my second weekend of racing my rtr crt and at this point in time, i should have gone with the kit.
1. the roto start, while beong convienient sucks once your one-way bearing is toast, like mine was today- so get a starter box!
2. loosing e-clips and hinge pins sucks, dont say "dont crash so much because twice i lost them afetr landing medium jumps- get the threaded captured hinge pin set!
3. i've seen those plastics chassis braces bend after many jumps- luck i already replaced the with the cnc ones!
4. my manifold spring that wraps around the engine has TWICE pulled through the small holes on the manifold itself, making the exhaust useless- get a better pipe/mainfold combo (i ordered a JP1!)
5. losing rear dogbones SUCKS- i know i lost one today, after an hour of riding with it completely bent after a hard landing, not crash.- get teh universal cvds front and rear!
6. oh yeah, i broke 2 front lower arms today, i'm sure the kit arms come PRE-BOILED for more flex!

i'm sure i could keep going, but if you add up the stuff you'll eventually replace, the price of the kit sounds like a better deal to me.

You put 5K in the Front Diff? I have 50K in my front Diff, 30k in my middle, and 10K in my back diff. Try that it might help.

go heavier in the middle diff to stop that ballooning situation. tp thick up front and your turning will be hampered. i use 10k front, 50k middle, 3k rear. are you taping the inside of your tires???

In a nut shell,.... before you assemble your tires, turn them inside out. Then apply a strip of strapping tape around the tire, long enough to overlap by about an inch. Turn them back to right side out and mount them as you would normally.
