Hey Guys,
A statement released by the FIA said: “The US team have indicated that they will not be in a position to participate in the 2010 FIA Formula One World Championship. "
That sucks! The big sponsor left and that was it. I had a nice fantasy for a moment about Long Beach becoming F1 one more time

Hi there
Im new to this thread and I dont have an F1 styled car, but this thread got me into buying one[:@]
Ive found an f1 to buy and I need to ask a few questions about it...
I pretty sure its an f103rs and its probably going to cost around $50usd, it comes with another chassis for parts 3 bodies and like 4 sets of tires. A local store sells some parts for the newer f103 and f103rm, are these compatible?

Yeah there is a track around 15minutes a way that I sometimes race a mini(m-03) at ,
but they don't have a specific f1 class, I don't intend to race it anyway. The main thing that attracted me was the look and realism of they Tamiya F1's. How long do sponge tires usually last on ashpalt? or any other suitable running surfaces
EDIT: I also wanted to ask for opinions on how hard the f103 really is to drive?I want a little bit of a challenge but I dont want to br next to impossible to drive. Vyger said in his earlier post about tuning the f103 that many people later sell theirs because it is hard to drive, I've had a bit of experience and only plan to use it on croncrete areas. So what do you guys think?

You'll want a good flat piece of asphalt to run on. My ride height is set to the highest and the rear end is about 1cm off the ground. The front end is about maybe 7-8mm off the ground. The stock foams handle pretty well on pavement. I haven't tried the rubber tires out yet. And I hear Tamiya has released a soft compound rubber tire as well.

Anyone know where I can find Tamiya part # 4035046 (adjuster nut) and # 9808056 (friction damper spring)? I lost these during my run today. I can find them on tamiyausa.com but I can't order from there since I'm Canadian.
I've tried a few other sites but to no avail.[&o]

I'll definitly snap one tonight, was way to tired yesterday. Freakin' Mondays I tell ya. I also have an F104 Pro setup for racing, but unfortunatly haven;t been able to get out that much to race. The F60 is NOT going to be raced by me, ever ha ha.
