If the book says it can, it can. Just make sure you have the motor in the mount correctly and the right size gears.

Motor mounted in correct position. 55T Spur and a 25T pinion. Not working for me.

no adjustment needed RICEY,that particular TT-01 is set up for drifting. if you are adjusting the camber on a drift-chassis,you are just wearing out the inside of your drift tires......................

the drift chassis is the same as the non drift chassis its the hop ups you get that make the difference as far as I know...

no,i mean, that on a car you are drifting with, you want all the suspension sitting as square, and flat as possible. and,the aluminum arms, sit the suspension, and the tires dead square. now,if i was grip racing/running this car,i would probably, want to add some camber, and toe-in,but,i don't race, compete,or anything like that,so,i have TT-01's with the adjustable arms, and i still run them dead square.

Well the tt-01d comes with adjustable suspension. As far as Im aware for drifting you would want neg camber on the front for more steering control and neutral or even pos camber (which I have) on the rear to make the end slippery and easier to drift...

Uneven tyre wear is a part of life when ur a drifter haha

camber adj on a drift car works quite well, ive got -2 deg on the front and about -1 on the rear.

to tune a super stock:
change bushes for better ones
adjust timing
and its servecable, which means its great for the money you spend, i love it.

Hi,
I'm fairly new to rc cars ad recently I bought the TT-01 Mercedes DTM 2004.I bought the following hop ups;

ALUMINIUM PROPELLER SHAFT
SPUR GEAR SET 55T/58T
METAL MOTOR MOUNT
ALUMINIUM STEERING SET
CVA MINI SHOCK CYLINDER UNIT
ALUMINIUM MOTOR HEAT SINK
FULL BAL BEARINGS
BALL DIFFERENTIAL SET
24T/25T PINION GEAR SET
TAMIYA SUPE MODIFIED 11T MOTOR
QUAKE NO LIMIT ESC
ANSMANN LION SMOKE TYRES WITH FOAM INSERTS
ANSMANN 3700MAH BATTERY

For stength, is there any other hop up I would need? Also would the 11t motor be too much for the chassis? Any advise would be much appreciated. Lastly which gear and pinion ratio would work with each other?

Hi,
Are there any essential hop ups for the TT-01 with a no limit esc and an 11turn motor?

ok get a strip of flat road, mark with spray paint about 30 meters, make sure to hit top speed before crossing the first line and start timing on a stopwatch, when the car exits the other line 30 meters away, stop the watch, then work out how many meters per second it went and change to kph or mph.
easy and damn effective

I just got a Tamiya TT-01D a few months ago, and am looking for good upgrades. I'm also looking for a good Brushless motor system for about $250. Whats better LRP/Reedy or Novak?
