Even after I built the TC4 FT, I still think TRF makes the best shocks..

Not that the TC4 FT shocks does not have the good action.. but I just like the overall feel of the TRF ones..

TRF (or Tamiya in general) also uses a rubber seal to separate the oil and air, so they can be run lying down or upside down..

The TC4 FT design does not allow that...

The gold color on the shaft is probably TiN coating.. which can also be found on high end motorcycle fork slider tubes.. (although the rage nowadays seems to be DLC, Diamond Like Carbon coating.. it gives a dark / dull color, instead of the gold color..)

Regular Tamiya shocks uses those red rubber o-ring as seal, TRF shocks use clear o-ring made of silicon...

Having no baseline, I just built it with the standard recommended setting.. 3-hole piston + #400 oil..

Very nice. TRF shocks are the best for Onroad. So good in fact even the XRAY guys keeps using them. Btw is that a leatherman?

I kind of want to use TC body for the F103GT to run with other TCs...

RWD should be quite a handful.. should be interesting...

I really think if you don't super power the chassis and give it some nice rubber shoes, you'll have a good time with it. I think you'll have the most trouble coming out of the turns and onto the straights. You could easily program a power band into the 3PM for that chassis set up to control it. I think you'll really enjoy learning to drive that style chassis.

LUNCH ,KEEP IN MIND YOU DONT HAVE TO GO CRAZY POWERING A LIGHT 2 WD CAR , A 19 TURN MOTOR BRUSHED AND GEARED CORRECT WILL BE VERY FAST , THAT WAS MY LAST SETUP , BUT WITH CHANGING GEARS AND TRACK LOCATIONS I GOT TIRED OF THE BRUSHES , YOU CAN EVEN GO WITH A SMALL BRUSHLESS AND BE EXTREEMLY HAPPY

Ha ha, no, I planned it for awhile, but yeah, seeing your RWD cars, does make me want to have a RWD to go drive around the track to see what it is like!! (hence the idea of using gyro to assist handling the power.. LOL!)

Luncher. have u tired using a SxS pack in it yet? Im still trying to fiqure that out before i get one. all my packs are SxS and i don't want to buy more packs just to run this car.

crazyotto going power crazy is the only way to have fun 2wd supercars are suppose to be hard to drive anyways. that why not just anyone can race these kinds of cars even in real life
