I think about the construction of the wing and the profile.
This airfoil and wing are too big.

This drawing would have helped me a lot when I drew the fuselage of the plane.

To move the central flap. The one underneath the fuselage you can make a tongue (an straight extension) from the wing flaps (2 sides) and these lower the fuselage flap. Otherwise make a servo inside the fuselage centre section pushing a horn down. Of course all the three flaps have to be synchronized so that they all go down together. There is no short of walkaround photos of the DC-3 on the net so you should not have any problem locating what you really want.

In what scale do you draw and build your own model?
My first idea is 2-2 servos to move the flaps in the middle part of the wing, since the surface of the flaps are large.
The second idea that I like is the movement of the flaps Strula Snorrason's M1:8 DC-3 model.

Nice work Jozsef! It is coming out nice. I use Winghelper and Compufoil to make the wings. What material will you be using to cover the wings and elevator stabs? BTW what google drive are you talking about?

My friend cut out a wing profile rib.
When I designed the profile of the model in Solid Edge, I needed a sample to check its construction to see if it was strong enough, as the computer does not return the dimensions.

- What are the pipe diameters (red tubes)?
- How long are the two tubes inside the center section and how long will these tubes be inside the outer wing?
- Which engines do you plan to use so that you can allocate the firewall position according to the engine. I suppose whoever will be building this aircraft would appreciate to have a firewall position that will fit their engine. My suggestion is to allocate the firewall position with reference to a number of popular engines currently available.

The diameter of the engine cowl of the LI-2 model is Ø282mm.
I choose a Hungarian model engine MOKI/MARK M360 RC,

Jozsef, Definetely a nice engine and a quality engine. However since the engine is a twin inline one do check about your cooling system especially to the rear cylinder as it will have a tendency to get hotter than the front cylinder. Proper ducting should be made to force the incoming air to go through both cylinders. Do check how you intend cooling the rear cylinder as it is very important!
