Sounds like bad torque roll. Try a smaller prop. Make sure it is balanced and sharpened. Put right side trim tab down a little to offset the roll. The duel rudders are a lot of drag in the water. Try removing the left one. And you will need turn fins for the boat to turn well. Some boats have hook built right into them. Check to see that hook is the same on both sides of keel. To much hook on the left will roll the boat to the right.

RE: still having body roll problems sank it 4 times PLEASE MORE HELP
there is alot of hook in the boat from what i can tell the transom is taller than the rest of the boat
I shimed the prop mount so the prop is pointed to the left slightly does run better and i can use it
at high speeds though its starts doing it the exhaust side goes high still and carb side goes down.
ti will run straight down the water tilted onto the carb side so something is still making it lean. Im getting closer though
so how can i get it to balance out and sit straight in the water when going fast

RE: still having body roll problems sank it 4 times PLEASE MORE HELP
i ordered another set of trim tabs i think i might put them on next to the other ones just to hold up the far side
I cant remove the left rudder that one is connected to the servo. But I did remove the right one and no diffrence.
I dont race this boat its just for fun., I have had ars and helicopters but this boat is by far the most fun

Juicr it a prather 270 prop pretty small and its balanced and sharp as a razor it is torque roll just cant figure out how to stop it.
O yea i forgot I did recheck myt measurements on everything everything is True to the transome and evenly apart it might have been the camera angle making it look like the rudders were offset but everything is straight

Stuch,
Fyi, Tony did not invent model gas boating. If you know Tony he will tell you that. I do believe he can help in this issue. I do know Tony well and he is an honest straight shooter when it comes to his passion ( model boating). I truly believe that Whobbies has the beat customer service in the industry. ( just my opinion )

lower the right side trim some more, and raise the left side trim, tabs closer to the keel will tune your straightaway stability, while those placed further out towards the chines will affect turning stability.....

while this hobby can easily "get you hooked", I don't believe that manuf. will (intentionally) mold a hull that IS hooked, although I have read somewhere? that they have, but not from the manuf. you listed above ,or any other to my knowledge(except Vern).... and IF there was ANY benefit from it,I'm sure we would be reading praises about running a hooked hull...lol...while they can be repaired/compensated for,it would be labor intensive(somewhat),while the latter will drive you bugsy trying to figger out the right combination of tweaks to improve stability/handling......[:-] as i mentioned before in my above post, try bending the starbord tab down a bit further, and raise the port side as well, till you have it runnin right, seein that your not racing it,the added drag induced, should not really interfere with the FUN FACTOR.....

If your motor is the right weight.
Then your prop is making TOO MUCH torque. Borrow a correct prop from someone. Yours must be marked incorrectly.
Are you giving full throttle quickly ? Say in about 2 seconds ?
Call Tom at Octura Props. Phone contact only. 847-674-7351

Your rudder setup is a ton of weight that is massive high up on the transom.
You have a very high Center of Gravity.
EDIT .....You also have the 2 rudders & brackets away from the centerline. That causes more rolling.
Go to a simple single rudder set low on the transom and you will NOT be able to twitch the boat sideways.

Hooks can come from when the hull shrinks while curing in the mold. The flatter the bottom of the hull the harder it is to keep it flat while curing.
Yes, there are some molds that are specially made to have hooks in them. Seaducer's are one example. Jerry Crowther must have figured out how much hooking can occur while the resin sets up so his molds are made to compensate for that. His results are hulls that require no trim tabs or turn fins when set up exactly as his instruction say. I've seen boaters who thought that they knew more than Jerry does and ended up with really bad handling boats.
The opposite of a hook is a rocker. That will be when the transom lifts during the curing process from the mold.
When Forabuck (Vern) or anyone else splashes hulls the molds can come out with imperfections if not done right. Good manufacturers have done a lot of testing before releasing a hull to the public as if one looks bad, they won't sell more.
The other problem after that is the builder. A builder not following recommendations can make a boat run like a brick, kind of what was noted above.

RE: still having body roll problems sank it 4 times PLEASE MORE HELP
Well i added the outer trim tabs adjusted all of them as well as the prop angle up and down. Its almost there i can actually run at full throttle now without going over still rides a little on the edge so i have a little more tinkering to do with it. What helped the most was shiming the prop to be angled to the left a little
I think i might still save up for the WHH 57" hull and transfer everythin over...... i could always use another flower pot as well...
im uploading videos to youtube ill post them when done

It's kind of hard ot see in the videos as you're making a lot of turns.
What it looks like is the same problem that I had with its smaller version, the Titan 21. You might have to raise the strut a little higher to help it out.
It sure is running wet!

RE: still having body roll problems sank it 4 times PLEASE MORE HELP
what do u mean by running wet?? I need to raise the bow more.. I only play in my backyard with it I dont race it. From what it was before this is 95% better i could never even get it to go without flipping over before. and now its just moving pretty fast to me. little more tinkering and i think it will be better. I would rather leave the bow down little since its more stable that way. and that way since i am only playing in my yard i dont have to worry as much about flipping it over
either way one day ill make it a flower pot...
