RE: Flysky FS-GT3B
I have been using one of these radios for several months now is all of my cars. it has been great for me with excellent range and no glitching whatsoever. Has anybody experience any real issues or reasons why you wished you have gone for a "name branded" system instead? for $35 i thinkthis is the best deal in RC, except for maybe the $8.00 receivers!

i use that controller system.
its a great system however, i DONT like the button/dial setup, a little clunky to me, also watch the trigger, when its cold dont hit the brake hard, mine snapped, but the basic flysky trigger is identical (lucky me)
other than that it does the job well. worth $100 all day long.

RE: Flysky FS-GT3B
I have 2 of these now, one for my Nitro and Electric Rustler's and another for my Micro SCT. I love them, especially for the price. My son will be getting one for his birthday this year to run his ECX Boost and Mini DT. I bought several spare rx's. For $8.00 I couldnt resist. Now I have a closet full of 27mhz tx's that I will never use.

RE: Flysky FS-GT3B
ok i read the manual and it does not say much about the 10 model memmory. so let me ask this. i have two rc cars if i turn both of them on no matter witch model i pick on the transmitter it moves both. so is this how it works?
i turn on one car at a time change the model number on the trans to 1 or 2 set up the trim and such. then turn off that car. turn on the other change to the next model number set it up. and when i want to use it i only have one rc on at a time set transmitter to that modle and drive it? is this right please help

RE: Flysky FS-GT3B
Why would you have both rc's on at the same time? You can only run 1 at a time since they share a transmitter. It sounds like you have both rx's bound to both channels.

mtz57,
I don't believe RXs are bound to TX+model memory. For the Flysky, RXs are only bound to the TX. So when you have two RXs on two different RCs and they're both on, they'll both move when you turn on your TX.
I too wonder if there's a way to exclusively bind 1 rx per model setting on a FS, but I don't believe you can.
I still like the FS, though. For what it is, it's a great value. Plus, it's possible to get additional receivers for as low as $7.50 shipped. You can't beat that.<br type="_moz" />

RE: Flysky FS-GT3B
I have been using mine for about 8 months now with my savage which is a basher, great transmitter, no problems. Paid £50 shipped, the receivers I can get for £18 plus shipping so I have yet to buy two more when I find a better deal, one for my on road savage and one for my TS4N.

RE: Flysky FS-GT3B
Just got mine. Haven't had a chance to use it yet but did get it setup. Overall the setup was really easy, just needed to figure out how to change the throttle to reverse. Really excited as this is my first radio that was not 27 mhz. It feels a little cheap w/o batteries but I guess they all do. However, with batteries it feels great. So far I am impressed with this and at such a low price I am not sure if it could be beat.

Kinda why I modified mine to take a $12 3S battery pack
Now I get longer run times, and the lipo cost as much as I was paying for 2 sets of batteries. (I got 2 lipos which I carry with me in case I go low)

RE: Flysky FS-GT3B
Yeah I have noticed the batteries go down quick. I have 16 rechargeable AA batteries so hopefully that will help but it looks like the conversion to lipo isn't too bad. However, that would require a lipo charger that I don't have (yet).

yea the "conversion" is pretty much just rip the AA holder out, cut the 2 wires, find a 3S lipo that will fit(I have the Blue Lipo 3S 1800mah 15C packs), and solder on whatever connector you want to use for lipos and plug in the lipo when you want to use it
