RE: Official Jammin X1CRT Thread
Tried to do a search but found nothing. Why is there so much slope in the front and rear hubs on this truggy. The fronts are much worse than the rears. It seems they made the spindles a hair long. You can wiggle the tires back and forth nearly 2 degress in both directions. In effect, you can set your toe and camber but it will vary during racing. Has anybody found a way to tighten this up without effecting rolling resistance ?
Would make the car handle better and be more consistant.
Thanks

I agree, there is definitely a lot of slop with the hubs. The rear hubs are the worst IMO. It looks like there's a few pieces working together thats causing it. The ball ends on the upper control arms and the hubs themselves. I did try using some teflon shims but they didn't help much. I wonder if the CNC hubs would fix some of it. Overall I will say my CRT is a point and shoot, so i'm not overly concerned. But it would've been nice if the hubs fit better.

Quick noob question, how good is this truggy? Tossing up between this, a 8T or a Matrix TR Pro thingy.
Do many parts need upgrading or prone to wearing out (faster than normal)?
Seems to be popular in the states but I've never seen one at my club (which is good as I like to be different), A few Hong Nor buggies but no truggies to compare to the 50% 8T truggy field..

Hven't been able to run mine long enough to know if any parts wear out faster than normal but I can tell you that it is race spec out of the box no upgrades needed. The only exception is that you need to purchase the optional Z brace and add it but that is all. It is a great truggy[8D]

RE: Official Jammin X1CRT Thread
Well, IMO, the Jammin Pro is in between the Matrix and the 8T. There is more "fine tuning" set up options available on the 8T. But the Jammin is an awesome durable truggy. It has plenty of set-up options available to suit most peoples needs. It is extremely durable. I pound the snot out of mine and it has survived wrecks I didn't think possible. Make sure you get the Z-brace and aluminum skids and you are all set.
It does have a small amount of natural front end slop, but never effected me much.

RE: Official Jammin X1CRT Thread
Its a great Truggy. Ive seen begginers get ahold of it and rip all over the place. And it is really close to race ready out of the box. If you can get Hong Nor where you are, then you got Jammin. Its the same truggy. Most of the Jammin parts have a HN on them. I wouldnt trade this one off, It is as at home in the backyard as it is at the track.
