LB reading through you thread I noticed that it would be a good idea to use rubber o rings since there is some play between the body clips and the body. Where is a good place to get these o rings from other than online? Thanks in advance.

I always get them from either Tower or rcMart...

You might check w/ your LHS.. no doubt they carry o-rings for shocks rebuild... all the o-rings are similar, so....

Man I am an idiot, I drilled out the smaller holes on the courage body because I never saw the little insert on how to mount up the body correctly and I was mounting it like you would a normal body...... Any suggestions I am kind of pissed cuz this is such a nice body

the thing with o-rings is, they are always too small for the post diameter, hence they split all the time, you might wanna try these out, i have some ordered by LB..

You drilled it out already?! [:@] Maybe glue some lexan pieces from the inside and then re-drill the small holes?!

That's what I was thinking of doing, what happened is I installed the posts that are for a normal TC body, then thought the holes were too small on the courage. Actually its fine the way it is, just need some o rings so it stops bouncing up and down. It doesnt even move side to side so the slightly bigger holes don't matter. A blast to drive though!

Yeah, if you use the larger bodyposts, it is okay then!!

How do you like it so far?!? Pretty quick for a silvercan, no?!

Yeah I am impressed I might just do a sport tuned and call it a day, but maybe not I can barely handle the silver can, I gotta head over to the track though, my driveway and street areen;t really smooth enough.

Ha ha yeah that's what I am afraid of, I might just keep the silver can in it, it's plenty fast for me.

Quick question about tires, I was searching to find the best match for the f103gt courage. These tires look like the ones that came with the kit.

They are however 24 mm, are they regularly 26mm? It is difficult for me to measure with the tires on. Thanks in advance

i run 30 / 32mm foam tyres on the rear, i'll find a link if you want, on the back you can run anything you want, but on the front ther can only be about 26mm

Yeah I was looking for the stock wheels that came with the kit so I can put some HPI X paterns on them, but the X patterns are 26 mm so I guess I am outta luck with those wheels.
