Yeah, the orders come from Hong Kong. Shipping takes forever. You just have to ask yourself is it worth $20 or $30 to wait an extra 2-3 weeks.

You may want to check out rcboyz on ebay. I've placed 2 orders with them and gotten them both in 3 days from checking out. They don't have as much as dinball or rcmart but the shipping is quick.

The trouble with RCMart is that everyone assumes they are a huge warehouse with everything in stock.

Unfortunately; they are not. While they carry a huge amount of stock they don't have everything. This means they do the same as your LHS; order in the parts when they need them. So you aren't waiting for shipping, you are waiting for them to get hold of your stuff.

I also had trouble with a faulty heatsink fan, but RCMart were very good and replaced the item after I sent it back along with a downloadable form describing the fault.

So they are very good.

GPM Arms have caused problems for other users before though...

I'm facing a dilema everyone. I'm hopping up a tt-01 with alloy everything, carbon upper frame, front and rear stabilizers, ball bearings, etc. Now I want to put the fastest strongest motor that I can put on it. I find the Tamiya Transspeed motor 10T. I asked the different sellers if it could work on my tt-01 and I got a lot of mixed answers. Same thing happened when I asked about the Super Modified Motor 11T. I need someone to set me straight and help me make my tt-01 the fastest rc I can make it.

I know the TT-01 uses a metric pitch. But could I swap out the Pinion and the Spur for a normal 48 pitch? also, where can i find 48p aluninum spur and Pinions for the TT-01, Tamiya or aftermarket brands.

I'm Planning to get a Novak Velociti 3.5R for my TT-01. What upgrades are a must have? my TT-01D is stock with a 1500 mah NiCd Pack. Should I move up too a Nimh? How much runtime would i get with the batteries? Wht Gearing shoul I use for this setup?

Novak Velociti 3.5R ... you need an ESC for brushless motor. Check before buy it.

if your tt-01d is all stocks. upgrade for ball bearing and alloy main shalf. get some oil dumper too.

oh yea if you wan to race or something with speed, your better to change for 4200mAH. the curernt battery wont last long for sure.

My Son has a tt-01. the spur gear stripped and we had to get the new set with the 58. He previously had a 61 I think but it is bigger. I'm triing to help him fix it and I know we have to match the pinion gear ( after alot of time and 1 minute on this forum). What pinion should I use?

Ive been running a 9 turn with a no limit speed controller and 55t/25t gearing with no problems at all. You just have to be carefull so you dont strip gears.

With the 58 you can run 22 thru to 25 gears just ensure you have the engine mount on the correct way to suit.

58/22 12:00 position (|)
58/23 one to the left of 12 oclock (\)
58/24 flat (-)
58/25 one to the right of 12 oclock (/)

The TT-01D isn't a stock TT-01, it has some upgrades on it.
CVA Mini Shocks
Adjustible upper arms
Motor Heat sink
I got the Aluminum Shaft

Oh, yeah, my LHS has a track, and i plan to race their.

Hey just yesterday i came home to find that my parts from Tower finally came in. I quickly ran, got my car and went to work. After getting my new aluminum shaft in place and new spur gear. I threw in a fresh battery and took off outside. I have to tell you, my mamba max 7700 in this thing is beyond sweet. It's just F-ing crazy. I can't get over how well this thing performs now. The TT01 is one hell of a car. And thanks for the feed back on RCMART. i'm going to be placing an order soon for some more goodies to dress up my TT01. Pictures will follow hahaha.

is a 55/25 going to give me a huge increase in top end speed? And does anyone in here have any experience with the new Trinity N series brushless motors? They look good and priced around $120 and say that there around a 3t brushed. Think that would be a nice difference compaired to a mamba max 7700 motor?

The highest gearing is 55/28. Which is nearly 2/1. Goes like stink.
