Would anyone in here say that foam tires are better than rubber ones? I've heard else where that foam will last longer... Is this true?

I prefer foamies over rubbers, better grip and mine seem to last for ages...

I agree, i prefer foams, unless i drift, then i like to use rubbers with foam inserts taped up.

RiCeY i am running a Trinity Revenge of the monster motor (27t i think)

Yeah when drifting I use the rubbers that came with the TT-01D they seem to work pretty well.

If you want a lot more power/speed you can go a much lower turn motor with the TT-01. All you need to do is get an ESC to suit and be a bit more carefull to save the gears ie no full throttle off the line with the foamies on (its ok with the drift tyres on because they slip and dont load up your gears).

Im running a 9 turn and so far have gotten 60kph (37mph) out of the TT-01 and it does high speed drifting pretty well

nice, what sort of ESC and motor would you reccomend me getting, i would probably be racing and drifting with it.

what sort of ESC ad what make of motor are you running, and how much do they cost.

Also if i went to fast motors what gears would i need ?

thanks luke

that one if for me,try to find from ebay a novak tc2 esc or a tekkin 411,used or not,the will give as much power as you want for race only.as for motor a revolution one will do the job try use the 12x1 high speed version.

TT-01D - Team Atlas Modified Excel 9 Turn - PCLine No Limit ESC - 55T/25T

The motor was (in Aus dollars) $60 and the ESC was $80 and I had it geared for max top speed
