RE: Official Tamiya TT-01 Thread
Egagnier my problems have been solved.... I got my new chassis today and threw everything on it and it's like new again. Before i reassembled everything i compaired the two and saw that the old one was worn down alot in the rear and that's what was making everything loose. After all the sh*t i went through trying to figues out what it was. Turns out that i needed a new chassis. hahahaha

You guys might be happy to hear this.
I'm thinking of buying myself another TT-01!!!
Since I bought the full brushless MF2.... it was never that fun. So I sold it, and I have been without an RC for about a month now. So I'm thinking about putting together a TT-01 drifter. And I also have my eye on a LST2 [>:]
So far I'm thinking completely stock, except ball bearings and alloy propeller shaft. Then I will go for a skyline body with chromo wheels. Lukily I kept my spektrum and charger / power supply when I got out the hobby. So all I need is a roller, ESC, motor, and batteries.

You used to be all over this thread bIGmiK, now you're back!
Making electricity is much more efficient than storing it to power electric motors, this is certainly true of real cars, so why not RC...
Could well be the future!

Id also like to make my TT-01 a drifter. I just need to find another motor and pick up some ABS. I dont think I can drift with my current setup.
But, looking forward to your return Bigmik!!!!!

Haha funny thing is that I'm looking at spending like $200USD on hop-ups already when I don't have a chassis yet
RCMart has a few really cool parts that I want now that they didn't have when I was into the TT-01's.

RE: Official Tamiya TT-01 Thread
Well just like Raguvian. I just ordered my self a TT-01. Kit # 58323 Schnitzer BMW M3. I cant wait to get it ans slowlly put it together. Now I have 50 pages to go through for research on hop-ups and factory upgrades. I know like any other Tamiya I would need to upgrade the bearings and I see something about some drive shaft. I will do a step by step on my project. Wish me luck and any other tips will be really appreciated.

I havn't had one for about 6 months and I recon I could build one without the manual! Very basic chassis!

RE: Official Tamiya TT-01 Thread
also im running a front one-way diff and if i use a standard rear diff it really understeers. i was wondering would a rear ball diff make a difference?
atm ive locked the rear diff and works a treat especially when drifting but im lookin at racing it and the locked rear diff wouldnt be ideal. so is the ball diff a worthwhile upgrade???

RE: Official Tamiya TT-01 Thread
Hi all.
Dont know if this is the right place to ask, but I got a TB-02 Raybrig NSX 2003 and was wondering if it is worth doing up or should I get something more recent that might be better spending the money on? I already race 1/8 buggies and bash a Savage so for now I dont want to go out and buy a $600+ onroad race car as well. Wanted the ep onroad car for fun on the driveway and the odd carpark drifting etc.
Also how does the TB-02 and the TT01 compare?
I did a few searches on rcuniverse and there isn't much info that I can find on the TB-02's. Guessing they aren't as popular as the TT01 etc?

RE: Official Tamiya TT-01 Thread
there is no comparasin, you get what you pay fo with the TT-01, a cheap , unreliable car that is no good for racing, unless you wand to drift in a big open space, where you can't break anything, does that answer your question ?
