I have a Turbo Header on my Saito 56 that is on a Hanger 9 Ultra Stick 40. It has the flaps on it also. I run a APC 13-4 prop. It has plenty of vertical. I really like the combo.

Which Ugly Stik would be best fit for my Saito 130TD, the Giant US or the 60 size? I've gotta put it on a Stik and hang it out into the wind for show.

At 70 US bucks a pop, I think there might be some applications that you might want to just use stock Saito exhaust, but for those projects where you want a little bling and a bit more compactness the TurboHeader is pretty cool. I don't have enough experience with the four strokes to comment on the increased performance over stock mufflers. But hey, a few more RPM can't hurt

From an engine weight perspective, I agree with you, Jim.
Let's not forget that the GP Big Stik 60 is large for a 60 sized ARF and can easily accept a 26cc gas engine. Performance wise, the 60 size might be a little better. I suspect that either way will provide a good flying model.

I have a GP Big Stick 60 and I'd hate to ruin it by putting a 26cc weedie on the thing. It does very well with the Saito 100. The weedie would weight the nose something terrible. The plane would weigh so much that you would destroy all the flight characteristics it may have had.
I have a Saito 182TD which is the newer 130 on my old style Ultra Stick 120 and it is perfect on that Plane. I could see the 130TD also flying this plane well - ergo the Giant Big Stick.
I the OP wanted to mount the 130TD on the GP Big Stick 60 he would need to move the servos to the tail and the plane would be on the heavy side but still be decent

Hi ken depends on lots of things. If my model ends up nose heavy i'll just move the battery pack back. When that adjustment runs out a large stick out the back with a cooler battery pack??
I like hotrods and fun

Hhhmmm... that's going to be tough. I purchased taller gear from TNT for it but I don't think it's even an inch taller. I have a 13x6 prop I was going to use and since w8ye suggested the 14x4 I'd hoped to try that too. Guess I'll have to see how it goes. On the power end, I thought about trying one of those "turbo header mufflers". Anyone have/like those?

It depends on what you want to do with the SSE. At my field, we had sport flyers and 3D flyers with them.
For 3D I would suggest Dubro featherlite foam wheels. A mini servo for throttle. And, a fuel tank somewhere around 8-10 oz.
You are going to have prop clearance problems with anything over 12". I made a 1/2 inch block for my main gear and still could not level the plane on the ground with a 12.25" prop.

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !
I'd like to apply for membership in Club SAITO. Why not! I am a 10 year Saito user. Bought a Saito 91 10 years ago, didn't read the instructions, didn't know until my recent acquisition of a new 100 about any low speed adjustments and the 91 has done nothing but run, run, run. Seems like I adjust the high speed on the 91 one or two clicks depending on the day or the season and other than that it just runs and runs and runs. I'm a believer.

IIRC, the old original Ugly Stik had less than 800 square inches of wing area and the newer, GP version, has around 1,000 square inches of wing area. That is what I based my comments on.
