After trying to run out my battery tonight in out almost unlit street I realised that I probably should use lights. Does anyone know how to add lights to a already painted Subaru Imprezza Rally car. My brother suggested light pods, but I can't find any 1/10 scale light pods on the internet. The new tamiya cars have lights in with them. I think they have some sort of cup inside, but due to the fact that mine is painted, I need something that is "bolt on".

Like this...
I tried it like that but it's like the hole for the pin moved or something. I know it's sounds crazy but I couldn't get it to work.... I will try again tonight when I get home. Does anyone know were I can download that manual? I bought a RTR so I didn't get it...

The electronics are not a problem, im very good with electronics. Bacically im asking how I can add lights without having LED's stick out of my body. I was also thinking instead of LED's to get a pair of xenon lights (they have them for mini maglights, over at the radio shack near my house.) Does anyone know of a 1/10 scare rally car light pods is what I think i'm asking. Those are nice though, being able to have break lights.

you can use the LEDS without them sticking out. Read the directions or just have an imagination.

I've had mine for a little bit now. Ordered the prop shaft, ball bearings, and steering turnbuckles a few weeks ago at the LHS. I'm hoping they come in soon so my car can bash faster. Although a few days ago I was driving it out in the street and my road has a few bumps in it and I found this one where I can hit it just right and the car will go flying up in the air. It's only goes up about 1/2 in. but its great. But after doing this a few times for some reason the bumper ripped through on a line from the mounting post to the edge. So I glued that back together and I hope it holds for a while.

not really. or at least ive never found any package deals. Maybe try ebay. Other than that Tower and RCmart is your best bet. RCMART for sure!

Toyeast.com
They were the cheapest and it comes with an esc also, so i went for it.
It's gotten some mixed reviews. Apparently, they'll ignore you unless you call them.
The late shipment may have to do with the fact there was an earthquake or something there and they closed for a while, and they closed over the new years holiday.
I just wish it'd come. I should've ordered from Tower. It's only $8 more and doesn't come with an ESC, but it would've come a long time ago.

I've gotten mixed reviews from others. Some people don't have a problem with their service, and other hate them. They seemed to have the best deal (even with $36 shipping!) and seemed to be legit, so i ordered it.

I have 2 order from RCmart on their way as we speak.

1 should be here tommorow, the next about Wednesday next week.

Going to buy a Futaba MC3300CR speedy, few more matched packs (probably go for IB4200WC cells), and a new Sports Tuned motor.

Total was only $104, which is pretty good for a prepainted and pretrimmed TT-01 with an ESC. Tower sells the same thing for $104 before tax and shipping.

You are going to buy matched cells and a Tamiya motor? Why? Why the matched cells period? I don't know crap about RC cars at all, but I know RC electronics. matched cells are a waste of your $$ un less you are in a very very closly matched compition or you do some thing like SAW racing. Don't take that the wrong way, I am not "dissing" you. I just really want to know why.

Matched cells give way more punch, and the cells I buy will be the highest voltage a company offers.

Also, I'm going to race with them....
