There may be some confusion, there is no "mount", I just replace the nylon bolt supplied with the kit with a different type. I prefered steel, but there are nylon cap head bolts also.

Today i make first flights on my B25. I had many flights tested my twintrainer with this engine, but had left engine out in the first flight b25. This model fly on single engine..... PERFECT!!!!!!! But after that my breath and my head was crazzy..

Nice to see that the B25J sounds the same in Russia as here in the US. Looks like Top Flight got the engines set up right for one engine, but so far I haven't had to test that. Nice job of flying with one engine and two engines. Thanks again. Ethan

The orange triangle you speak of is supposed to be the nose-gunner's seat. It is supposed to be brown leather, but the color is too orange and not enough brown.

There is a little story behind the fuel tank capacity. Originally, the fuel tanks were a little smaller, but somebody else higher up in the company ordered us to go to larger fuel tanks. Kinda funny. On the other hand, I would rather pump out excess fuel rather than have a dead-stick situation. But no, your suggestion is not silly. Smaller fuel tanks were a little easier to install and also made it a little easier to hook up the throttle, but orders are orders.

No! I did many times tested my twintrainer with gyro on rudder, and had only positive opinion about gyro in case of single engine out.
But i newer used any gyro in new model. On next flight session i will use gyro on rudder and ail.
IMHO, right preset of rudders is help no less than gyro, in case of single out. Left rudder set 2-3 degree to left, right rudder 2-3 degree to right.

I use OSMax-FL70 with 3 blade 12x6 MAS prop. When left engine out, i make circle on full throtle right engine.

This is how it flys but toreo seems to have flown it in much relaxed manner!!!!! Amazing and good contlol. This is the loveliest plane I own, and those videos prove it is the best every time. I cannot wait to get up to date with my video downloading skills and it seems that the resolution is too high and make extra large documents. I will get help and post another video to add to this list.

interesting interior a pic! i put all that in there and your idea is really nice. with the glass on you cant tell anyway. school is done may 30. I just recieved my rivet tape to finish but im gonna fly her first! My wife has to go out and help me lift the plane after the outer panels are on. I fly alone and there is no way I can handle this on my own. shes never seen me fly anything except helis. i can get the fuse and center section out of the van and add the wings. But flipping it over requires two people. ill fill the air tanks hook up all the lipos and secure everything when the plane is upside down. All I need to do is get it turned over and fly.

I'm not tim but if you permit, you will have to spin a 13 x 8 3 blade MAS with this engine. will fit in there, a buddy of mine did it.

i know that the KMP new B-25 is recommended to work with RCV .91 and i have 4 of them . they have more power and less speed so they swing a larger prop's , is a 13 x 8 will not be to close to the ground ?

Hello cobi. I guess I'm the Tim you're referring to, so I'll try to answer your question. My answer is...I don't know if you can put an RCV .91 in your B-25. As you probably know, the top of the engine size range is .70 4-stroke or .50 2-stroke. But I wonder how much power the RCV outputs? That's the real question. If power is similar to a .70 4-stroke or .50 2-stroke, you're fine. If the RCV is a little more power, you're probably still fine. If it's MUCH more power, you may over stress the airframe unless you manage the throttle appropriately.

I see Normand knows a person who powered his B-25 with the RCV. This is good news, but I would inquire more with Normand or his friend to get a little more information (such as how does the plane fly with these engines or were there any difficult modifications required?).


I'm sorry I cannot give you a better answer. I guess you'll just have to do a little research and rely on your own common sense.
