What Tor and silversurfer was trying to explain to you was, that the speed of sound in air is not constant, it drops with air pressure. Since the air pressure at the tips of the prop is quite low, the tips actually only have to reach a speed of about .65M to approach the speed of sound. Your formula would be correct if you were just swinging a stick, but since it's an air foil we're swinging, your formula is flawed. And nobody ever suggested that the prop as a whole travelled at the speed of sound, or even close.

Aquired a bme 110 with falcon ignition hasn’t been run in 10 years good compression. Reeds look good. Installed carb kit. Replaced tank and all fuel Lines. Replaced ignition with rcexl and set timing to 28deg btdc. I have no clue what to start with for needle settings. Any advice appreciated.
