Well okay when you put together the TT-01 and you conntect the propeller shaft with the sur gear. There is the little metal piece a small metal piece that lockes the spur gear and propeller shaft. I lost mine ,and i finally geet the parts i need to run my TT-01. So myquestion is how can i replacee thaat piece? Ill try to get some pictures up .

you mean that little pin that goes into the prop shaft? those little suckers are easy too lose. Just cut up something thats fits inthe hole and you will be good to go.

clay?! i dont' think we're talking about the same thing. Are you talking about the plastic ring that slips onto the spur and holds the pin in the prop shaft?

No, you were right. I didnt have another metal piece to replace the meal pin, so i used some clay that you can bake and it becomes hard. Ihave another metal pin but its too long, so im thinking of shaving some mm off it.

if you want to buy some spares, visit here: http://www.goldstarstockists.com/menu.htm

its where i get mine from, it is in the UK, but they have literally millions of tamiya spares, including many out of production.

Dont think clay will hold it long tho []
your gonna need a tint metal tube bit to put in there clay will just crumble no matter how long its baked.
It may be replaced thro tamiya parts tho

If you don't have any of those pins laying around try going to the local home depot, loews, hardware store, etc and ask for "roll pins". I'm not sure if they'll definitely have them in a size small enough but it's worth a try. Auto parts stores should also stock them.

Otherwise you may be able to get away with cutting the long end off a body clip.

Anybody know a place that has outdrives in stock? And that is located in the US. Everybody seems to be out of stock, from tower to Tamiya. Or if there is a cheap upgrade to the stock plastic dogbones. Under $20 would be best.
