well if its not overheating and running smoothly then its fine. however you might kill it if its in high speed accident knock on wood

the standard spur is a 61t and the hopups are 55t/58t but u should be able to drop a few teeth without over heating maybe evn up the ipnion teeth a bit for more top [8D]
im running 25/55 on a 21 motor and it flies now gonna invest in a nice 19t motor now

sorry not that i know of. tower and tamiya are the only 2 places i get my parts from. have you tried your LHs?

ORIGINAL: seth556

Anybody know a place that has outdrives in stock? And that is located in the US. Everybody seems to be out of stock, from tower to Tamiya. Or if there is a cheap upgrade to the stock plastic dogbones. Under $20 would be best.

Well rally cars don't usually use many of the parts from the real car aside from the body work. Just like the Huandi rally car is fantastic even though if you went and bought one at the dealer is would handle nothing like it.

They pretty much take the sheet metal off and then build a car to put under it.

i thought the rally car manufacturer had to make so many similar cars for the road, eg: Focus RS/Escort Cosworth/Celica GT4/Lancia Delta Intergrale?

Yeah, they do. It's called homoglation, but the cars aren't necessarily similar to the rally cars

From what i know of, it's the structure of the car that's the same. Mitsubishi's rally car has the same 2.0L engine (which is required by the WRC rules) as the Evolution, but Hyundai and Subaru don't share the same engine as their rally counterparts.

Hello everyone.
I am a new proud TT-01 owner and I have some questions. First off I have the 1/10 ARTA NSX RTR and i also got the al. drive shaft and a towerhobby 1900 Mah battery. How fast should the car go right out of the box? Cuz my friend has the Radio Shack 1/18 pro pluse 4wheel rc car and his is dippin out on mine. thought it would be faster then that, or do i have to get the bearing upgrade, spur & pinion, battery with more Mah's.(3300 or 4200). or do you think is a manufacturer defect? help please!!!! I WANNA GO FASTER!!!! [:@]

ok dude relax, the tt01 stock aint that fast and will never be.
bearings will help with accel and top end speed and increase runtimes. aso get deans plugs on your equipment, this allows more current to get to th right places. then first off get a stronger battery, eg. 3700 reedy etc.
thatll make the car faster and run longer, but not be uncontrollable in the hands of a novice.
a stock tt01 will go about 30-38 kmp (with these upgrades and depending on gearing), if you really need to get a super stock motor or a sports tuned motor and youll run alot faster, but first install bearings.

keep in mind, gearing makes a big difference in top speed etc. but be carefull for overgearing.

i ran 25/55 and was really unimpressed. also watch out for overgearing on the motor.
