I used all H9 hardware kit, but put 1/4" longer arms on the elevators as I could not get enough 3D movement on them.
The engine is fairly easy to mount, I have a thread here with lots of pics on how the engine fit on mine. Search for it and youll find it..

H9 1/3 scale Sukhoi Pull Pull setups
I just purchased a H9 Sukhoi also and I am also planning on putting a ZDZ 80 on it. I am going to do pull-pull using a Servo Ganger from RCSuperstore. I should have it installed later this week, I will post some pics once I have it installed.
As for hardware I am putting together all my own stuff, it is all basically the same as the H9 Hardware pack but since I am putting in the Pull-pull I don't need all the long pro-links in the H9 Hardware pack.

Pull Pull
I'm putting together the same setup now have installed the pull pull set up using Hitec 5735 260 oz. giant servo. Call nelson hobbies he has offset servo arm 31/2 in. install cables straight do not criss cross, holes in fuse need to be at the point where the fuse is 31/2 in. wide. Same as servo arm with 3/8 offset that will match offset at rudder if you use nelson (rocket city) hardware. Mount servo as close to wing tube as possible and keep tail as light as possible should balance 1 in. behind tube with out any extra weight. should weight less than 24 pounds. I'll try to post pics. ASAP hope this helps.

Pull Pull Exit
Todd
I used Dubro large push rod exits for the exit for cable I chose not to use a tray for a couple of reasons. 1. I did not want the extra weight, 2. I wanted to get the servo as far forward as possible this plane has a tendency to be tail heavy.
The cable will enter behind former you will need to drill holes to clear, I used long drill bit from home depot for this job worked great. with the dubro fittings you will have a nice clean looking exit. If you are interested in the Kevlar cable and cable ends I can get you there name and number they are a composite co. in CA. Hope this helps.
Thanks
Mike

Kevcord connectors
Todd
Attached is the web site for ACP sales they have both kevlar cable and kevcord connectors with 4-40 threads can be threaded to ball links, and .047 hole??? large enough for cable to fit thru, then tie a knot CA and pull tight.
http://acpsales.com/
Thanks
Mike

Sukhoi w/no-lead !!!
Wow, I just balanced my H9 Sukhoi w/ZDZ80 before adding my rudder servos using the "updated" CG's now recommended by H9. After all the talk about the ZDZ80 being so light that you would need pull/pulls and lead too. Mine came out nose heavy until I stuck the rudder servos back in their designated positions. With them in the rear I managed to get the "precision" flight CG at 13/16" behind the center of the wing tube (1/16" behind the rear of tube). My setup is:
1.75" aluminum standoffs on ZDZ80
Throttle and choke servos on motor box
1800mah 4-cell sub-c nicad pack on top of motor box
2700mah 5 cell NIMH packed in fuse side up against 1rst bulkhead
Tank in stock position
Here are some pics of the nose area which aided the balance. Thanks for those who warned me not to jump on the pull/pulls until I moved any/everything forward.

My plane sukhoi should be done this weekend. It will be interesting to see where my CG will end up. All my batteries are up front + a showtime smoke pump!!! maybe I should check my balance before i put in the servos.....

ok, im confused. I noticed that jelaird has 2 servos right next to the ignition - wont this cause interpherence??? If I can place the reciever battery pack and throttle servos in the front of my 29%cap, I can remove 1.5lbs of lead! Whats going on here????

The only people i've seen doing this has been people with PCM radio systems. And they say they never have any problems. I guess what ever works!!!
