Interesting construction, anything in the fuse other then the sheer webbing?

RE: Extra Woody? Spy pics!
Let me clarify a few things about the pics. The nekked plane in the pics is one of the first prototypes. The production version is 6 ounces lighter and I omitted the holes in the LE sheeting. The fuse does not include the cutouts either. The sheeting on that plane was ply and it weighed way to much. The CF beams Tim referred to are actually a composite/wood sandwich that we manufacture here. They are somewhat shock absorbant and are placed to distribute the stresses of an impact equally thruought the fuselage. In testing, this has proved quite effective. One of my planes has been flown into a brick wall and even cartwheeled at about 30MPH. The wing suffered a little damage, but the fuse was completely unharmed on both occasions. The covering on the plane is 100% ultracote and the hardware pack will be top notch.
For production, we jazzed up the construction a bit by adding dovetails on the wing sheeting and cap strips. If Tim will ever get his plane finished, maybe we can see some good video. Tim??? Are you listening????

Tentative ARF features:
Carbon Fiber wing tube.
Carbon Fiber wing alignment pin.
Carbon Fiber wheel pants.
Carbon Fiber control horns.
Carbon Fiber servo arm extensions.
Carbon Fiber tailwheel bracket.
Carbon Fiber pushrods.
Built up and tapered ailerons.
All control surface servos concealed under hatches.
Pre slotted hinges.
Good looking and usable hardware pack.
Perfection in laser cutting.
Notable quality in construction.
Smooth quality covering.
Save your pennies fellas, that's all I can say. This is one of the "MUST HAVE" planes for 2007!!!

Don't suppose there is any chance of a kit version as well?

Mark,
Not a bad Idea. If I get a few requests we will kit it.

RE: Extra Woody? Spy pics!
My only concern is that the plane really was designed to be built in jigs. I can't imagine it would build nearly as easily on a board. No rib tabs and such, right? The rest would be easy, however. All laser cut, and tab / notch style building.
