BILLY HELL R/C......MOJO ARF!!!!! SPY PICS
Why wait for the mags to tell you, thank goodness for RCU!!!
This past weekend I had the chance to fly the new Mojo ARF. WOW!!!!!
I have to admit, I was very concerned that an ARF version of a kit plane would ruin the plane. For the most part, the majority of the ARF planes we have available are not available as a kit, so we have no way to compare. We would all figure that due to production of ARF's with hot glue, crappy covering and standard production line issues, there would be no way the ARF version would weigh or fly the same as the kit version.
I was wrong.
I can tell you that the Mojo ARF flys just as well as the Mojo kit. They are the exact same airplane. Even so exacting that when the a ARF version got a wing panel ripped off due to a mid air, I saw them take a kit version that had already been framed up by another builder, cut the wing at a rib and fuse the kit wing, onto the ARF. Exact fit. Impressive. ARF RTF is right at 4 pounds.
I have owned every ARF profile and about every ARF 3D plane on the market for 14 years and this Mojo ARF is by far the best when it comes to craftsmanship, covering and above all flight capabilities. I am told they are built here in the states, use REAL covering and REAL CA glue. It locks into a hover where you could almost put the transmitter on the ground and walk off.
So for all the people out there who don't have the time to build a high quality profile bird, you will soon be able to buy a true performance oriented profile in ARF form very soon.
I am curious about the price too, I donno what it is yet, either, however if it comes in more expensive then some of the other ARF profiles currently available, it's OK because it is a much better flying bird and it a Mojo.
I do not know who will be selling them as of yet. I know the designer and the builder so that how I got the 411 on the plane. In fact, thanks to those guys for letting me fly it after I dumped my Fusion (I have already writen about that bird) about an hour before.
I understand that it will only say "Mojo" and not the ARF on the wing. When I get more info, I will post it here for my RCU buddies.

Yea it is the 40 size. The 40 size is not out yet, so I am sure it is going to be a while before we see the 60.
That one had Webra 50 and bone stock Futaba servos, like 3004's or something and they worked great.

Cool. I'm also looking for a place to hang my 50. My Kat is getting a little heavy with all the Epoxy in it holding it together. I've been a little rough on it

Yeah same stuff on the Dragon Lady. See how you can see sunlight through the wing in the pic, drop a pencil on the wing and then drop it on a monokote wing. Solarfilm is brittle crappy stuff, please offer it on arc if it has to be covered in solarfilm.

RE: MOJO ARF!!!!! SPY PICS
Well, maybe you just got some bad stuff or something. Hey, by the by, I saw you refer to the price of the MoJo ARF and I was wondering where you got that info? I've been looking all over RCU and there is no mention of a target price anywhere.[sm=confused.gif] As for the ProBro discount, well I don't think I get one either, but that wouldn't stop me from owning this fine slab. It'll be nice to not have to build one for a change. Still, if you decide not to get one just because of the covering, let me know, and I'll make you a sweet deal on peeling it and recovering it for ya. Heck, since we live in the same state, I'll even deliver it to you. All you gotta do is PM me your physical address.
See ya soon..............
