T-one Hawk mini

T-one Hawk mini
It looks like T -one is coming out with a hawk mini. It looks to have a ton of scale details including slotted flaps, rivet lines, dual nose gear doors controlled by one servo as well as dual main gear doors controlled by one servo. Plus it has electric retracts, I am not personally a fan air. Think I may give this one a shot. I talked to Dirk and I have a custom camo scheme in mind.
74.8 Length, 62.99 Wingspan
Rated for K-60 to K-102 Max
Weight 19.62lbs without fuel

I just got my mini Hawk in Tiger scheme. Looks great, lot's of detail and good paint/finish. It is PNP version, so I should have it ready in a week or so. Will post pictures.
does anyone else have one of these?

I just have the kit version. Would you be willing to take a few pics for me. Primarily of how the rudder is mounted and the placement of the light controller. BTW, did you have to receive instructions on now to use the light controller?
Thanks,

Thanks for the reply but I already got mine built and ready to go. Found a couple of pics online and just made the rest up as I went along. It's a good kit. Solid and tons of scale detailed. Feels tad bit heavier than I would have thought but my build came out at the listed weight, 19.62 lbs. Tank empty, uat full.

I've been looking at smaller jets recently and this one looks real nice. I talked with one pilot today at FIF who lost this one on maiden flight after flap deployment. Has anyone had any issues with this jet loosing pitch control with flap deployment? I have heard of Hawk type jets doing this before but I have never flown one.

I had a Global Jet Club T-45 foamy. It crashed during maiden as I dropped the gears and banked left for a gear check prior to landing. I am not sure what caused the crash but one of my friends who was watching felt that I may have stalled it. I personally thought I had plenty of speed while making a gradual left turn.
Tone, would you please give us feedback regarding flight characteristics after your maiden flight?

I can tell you right now that I wouldn’t order my BVM F-18 at the current price, I got mine on a BVM Black Friday special and consider myself lucky to have paid what I paid for it.
I’m interested in this T-1 Mini Hawk though, it looks amazing and its an easy size to manage… but I have two other jets in front of it I need to finish and fly first before I order another one…. Or so I keep telling myself…

Likewise. I own two T-1’s. Quality is awesome but I just can’t deal with the shipping prices from Asia. Ironically it’s only on these jets and hobby. Starting to wonder if it’s all a game. That’s why I am out. I will only pay when it’s available here in the United States. No more games. Not here in stock, not my problem.
