Anybody seen one or flown one or know anything about it? It’s something different than you usually see, I like it.

Here's what the real A-7D (ship 982) looked like when I flew it in Vietnam. The Air Force D model (except for the first dozen or so), did not have the refueling probe but had a raised receptacle on top of the fuselage (visible in this pic).

I only know of the one being flown for testing and development, but give me a few months and I will let you know!

Barry from KT was flying his at Apollo a couple weeks back. It sure looks good. He was not happy with it and said the wing was under going a redesign. I heard the AOA was wrong and the wing needed wash-out.
Once they get it bugged-out it will be a nice jet.

Why would they choose a scale of 1:7.5? Seems like an odd size....

I think they are trying to keep the size down for shipping cost, I think its a great size for the every day flyer.

You guys want an absolutely gorgeous "Last of the Gunfighters" model in 1/7 scale????
While I'm sure it's going to be more money than anything from Barry & Dirk, the workmanship and scale detail Oli put into this model is unbelievable.....

Here it is;

No, I don’t want that or I would have started a thread about that one.

As far as I know they have not shipped any yet, still on this list waiting to hear!
Planning to do the usual build thread on it, being plug n play that may not take long.

I ordered mine back in October. Was told 8 weeks. Haha.

delayed because the factory moved buildings, then a covid shutdown, then a redesign for the wing.

I was told last week they they are finally getting ready to ship.

The factory moved buildings again? They moved back at the end of 2019 early 2020 also.

Post some pics when you get it, would love to see how it’s laid out inside and the build quality etc..

Yeah should have mine soon as well below are some more pictures plus you can get an idea of size. I think this will be a good size for every days stuff. So hard for me to do plug n play but for the price I will give it a try and if I don't like something I can always change it.

Any manual floating around out there? I check Pacific Jets but the A7 page has not been updated for 7 months.

Normally they just post throws and cg at the bottom of the purchase page. No manuals with any of their models which is part of why I do my build threads. Once its here I will do a unboxing and my usual "The good, the bad and the ugly". Even being a plug n play I will go through it 100% and probably change some things to my liking.

The one I saw at my field looked really nice, better than the photos above. I hope yours is even better!
