Trust me we are dying as well! We were originally promised these in Dec so imagine how we feel! We want to make sure everything is perfect with these before releasing.

Was just informed last night by our supplier that the shipment is being held by customs in Seattle. This is killing me and is sounding like a broken record. So guess we will be another week in delay. Sorry but we have absolutely no control over shipping and customs until we get our hands on them. Understand folks that everything coming from overseas these days is undergoing extra scrutiny at customs.

Derik,
If you don't have one of the Katana 40 ARF's, get one of those until they can get the YAK ARF's. The Katana is really a well built ARF that I think is pretty light. The manual is a little weak, but OMP doesn't have any control over that, and most of those questons have been addressed in this forum. If you are experienced at building and setting up profiles, then this will not be a problem. And, I don't think that you can have too many profiles!!

Yes, the yaks and Edges are built almost identically to the way the kit versions are including the foam core fuse. Pictures are on our website and in one of these threads here also. Hopefully they will clear customs any day and we can go pick them up later this week.

Hey Derik,
Yes, you were already ahead of me. I really like your trim scheme! Have you flown your Katana much? If so what are your opinions? I see that you live in Indiana. If a person doesn't mind cold weather, we have had some flying weather this winter.

Ya know, if they were made here (in the USA) then we wouldnt have to worry about the whole customs thing. But then again, those 8 year old chinese kids can build/cover a mean ARF these days!
