ORIGINAL: pantherflyr
Dave (WHODAMAN'S) new PST Panther. I just finished up and should be ready to fly as soon as he is ;-). The trays are removable, so maintenance is a breeze. I think it came out pretty good, what do you think?

Sweet, Nick I'll come out there and we will have some fun. We'll fly the paint off of it and Davy can put the gas in it.

Dave
Say it Ain't So......
Did you lose your Mind,Bet, a Camo scheme on a Panther
Only an AF Puke would put that scheme on a Marine bird..... Salt water corrosion would tear that camo up making appear like a " DRUT "
Semper Fi
Joe
Will you be attending Speedworld ?

RE: New (MARINES)Panther ready to fly
Hey Dave...
No that scheme was just a bit of fun. I got sick of the plain Panther schemes out there, and hate to do the same as all the others so I made this one up. Which to be honest is what I am doing with a lot of my scale models of late. I am not a big fan of comeptitions so dont worry too much about scale accuarcy. I would rather my models looked how I wanted them to rather than be accurate.
This Panther scheme originally had a sharks mouth and eyes but I had these removed in favour of the Dirty Doris nose art. Sometimes less is more.
Being as yours is a smaller model I guess technically it is scale... Just not of the full size.
Regards Al

Scale, Schmail! There are many one time or unique schemes that never made it into the "books" of old! Nowadays we take pictures of everything that moves, years ago more photos were lost in a shoebox than published. Who is to say how close you may be to a "scale" scheme. I really do like the paint, great work!
