King Of Baja 5Bs
Well, to me at least Here it is, all done with the exception of a beautiful chrome wing which is on order, and hydro brakes. I added a fair bit of weight to it, but the engine I put in it is as beastly as they come. It is going to be incredibly fast

5.5 - 6 with that pipe and the mods, monstrous torque as well. Its as big as they come for RCs
It wasnt all too expensive, around $2300 so far.

I am jealous... I am just to afraid to go 1/5 scale. I can't control myself with 1/8, 1/10, and 1/18 where prices are much cheaper. Those beadlocks are SICK. I always kind of knew the 5b was big from magazines and stuff, but the first time I saw one it blew me away.
I could sell a couple of my other trucks and pick one up. Hmmm....

If cash is a problem go to kingmotors.cn and they have exact clones where only the receiver box is different but you can still buy a stock HPI one in. I know the idea of clones are bad but HPI needs to bring down their price. It's been there since it first came out...
They are located in China but it costs $390 for the actual car and 145 for (EMS) shipping which takes 4-5 days. Although you can pay $20-30 depending on where your closest port is but that takes any where from 20-30 days...

They "look" like exact clones, but they arent. The aluminum is of lower grade, the shocks are shoddy, and the engine is NOT a chung yang or Zenoah.
If thats ok with you fine, but dont think youre getting some great deal. You're getting what you pay for.

Can we get some more pictures of this king cause I want to see under the body the outside looks amazing. Also some pictures of thos hydrolic brakes. I had no idea you could put that on a R/C! (I'm starting to get in giant scales)

I dont have the hydro brakes yet, but they're very common in high quality large scale vehicles. Theyre quite reasonable, it would come to around $500 for 2 front and the rear driveline brake.
