Default MACS pipe

I've recieve my MACS pipe friday, and i've install it on my savage today[X(][X(][X(][X(][X(] the sound man[X(][X(][X(][X(]
I've it on a FOrce 28, and the sound is about 6 or 7 time louder than the dynamite 086 pipe. It's crazy, the look is awesome too.
Just want to test it if performance is better.

I'll post somes pics tonight if i've 5 minutes

The Macs pipe looks really cool, like the sleek look. Which models fit the Savage? I juts hit the net for a rapid search for them, and the only one that came up was the 8.5 for airplanes:

You need this one.
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXZ573&P=7

You have to cut it, because it's too long, just take the point where the pipe is at the maximum diameter, mesure 4" and cut right there.

supertib, what did you mean by half wave pipe?

You have got to be kidding ThunderbirdJunkie....

Sorry, but We refuse to believe there is any power to be had with this pipe on either of those engines.

woah. never seen a pipe like that for nitro rc's. Im fairly new to them but man. I want one . is there significant gain over other tuned pipes. I have a stock savage x pipe on a dynamite .28. how do you attach the pressure fitting? solder?

ok, let me be the first to say that looks like THE biggest waste of money, ever.
looks practically useless, and stupid.

just my .02.

and why would a picco be a back up to a force engine?

/joke thread?

The pipe definitely looks cool

But I fear that the power increase is going to be practically nil...perhaps a midrange pipe like a JP2 would be better suited to your Force engine?

Either way, I agree with ABU, you should definitely put that Picco in there...if it's your backup engine, I'll trade you for my LRP!

Hey TK, my Picco will go in my savage when my Force will be dead. I just want to know how much fuel this engine will be able to drink before to fall off.
But yes, i'am prety impatient to put the picco in it

It is a Force engine, so it will last forever. You might as well just pull the Force out and put the Picco in.

I can almost guarantee that the Force will last longer than the Picco!

[X(]Are you serious??? I've hear that Force 28 crankcase explode in about one or two gallon of fuel
Anyways, i'll start the season with the force and when i'll want more power, i'll swap for the Picco.

if it's your backup engine, I'll trade you for my LRP!
I've a LRP in my buggy

Force engines don't make great power, but they are work horses. they will spend all day at redline, they'll take being overheated...it's too bad they don't make a serious horsepower engine, because i would buy it in a heartbeat!

Try a JP2 pipe with that Force you have, and I think you will be more than happy

I have a JP2 in my buggy with the LRP Z28. And i have a Dynamite 086 to replace the MACS if i don't like it.
So maybe the 086 and the JP2 is about athe same??

Go look at the drag forum. Boat pipes are in use. Not the so called "tuned pipes" which are more mufflers than tuned pipes. You can get a significant increase from a pipe like he is trying but they sure are very very loud!

Can you convince your wife to let you run it for one minute to shoot a little vid? I'd love to hear it.

Also we should maybe get together this summer for some bashing.
