I just logged in and received a PM stating that they are creating a vintage section. One thing that they did want is a list of all the threads that should be moved over there. If you have any that you know should be moved, please post a reply to this topic with the link to the thread.

any update?

i'll hold off starting new threads about vintage cars.

you could add all of lunchboxers resource threads for the tamiya re-releases to the vintage forum too.

any guidelines as to what is considered "vintage"?

pretty much anything thats no longer in production (modern race cars don't really count unless it's a rc10 gold pan era car / first gen losi's)or an old design and still made (like the tamiya re-releases od old kits).

lets say anything made before 1990 is a good starting point.</p>

LOL thats all we need, another slash thread.

that reminds me, 99% of the vintage stuff came in kit form, so if the car came as an rtr you can pretty much assume it's not vintage, or if it is it's toy grade not hobby/race grade.

If you want a Traxxas in the vintage group it would have to be an SRT, Hawk, Eagle LS, TRX1, or something along that era
