And which esc is better Xl5 or sc15wp which moter and esc would be great together and what shouldi put in my 4wd hpi sprint 2 sport

xl5 esc is fine
i havent run the firebolt motors myself....but any titan 12t i have owned burned up pretty quick.

XL-5 IMO is better had a SC15 go up in smoke on a RC. Put the XL-5 on the RC, and it was fine
as for motors they are both pretty equivalent RPM wise. The 550 will have more torque though. The firebolt 15 is more for lighter vehicles IMO.
if the sprint has the sc15, and firebolt in it I would leave it there, and from what I read your rustler has the XL5/550 combo I'd leave that there too.

I had a firebolt in my wifes stampede for a while. It lasted 7 or 8 months before giving up(one of the brushes fell off). My father in law's stampede had the stock titan and it lasted around a year and had more power. It didnt get run quite as hard though. You could tell it had more torque though and was a little more fun because of it.

One thing about the firebolt. It always ran cool compared to any other brushed motors i have had. I thought it would last longer than it did for that reason alone, but i guess not.

ThE XL5 is a much better ESC. As for motors. Every fire bolt I've owned felt soft. I guess I'm use to the torque of the Titan. The firebolts do last a long time but I think the Titan is a better motor IF you break it in correctly.
