Default Hawk Elevator Stab???

Hi All,

I have a FEJ 1/4.5 Hawk, this is my first jet with full flying elevator stab, I'm getting about 1" of movement in up and down elevator. Is this enough? Is more required on full flying stabs or less?

Thanks in advance!

I have 40mm of throw on my Skymaster large hawk. It is a little smaller then yours. This is measured at the leading edge..

Quist,

Is this what you fly it at? I'm assuming this is your high rate, right?

Yes it was the high rate. I set up a low rate for the maiden. I have since eliminated the low rate.

A general rule of thumb on all moving tails is as much as you can get.
