Lnewqban, The shape of the logo is a perfect match to the gasket. You have a sharp eye. I’m going to see if I can find something like it in the auto parts stores in my area. Do you know of an on line source for the Flexcarb NR?
w8ye, I have the Dolmar gasket. It's good but this Flexcarb is much better.

If I were you, I would measure the thickness of the existing gasket.
If you plan on using a different thickness base gasket you need to measure the squish or clearance between the top of the piston on the edge and the cylinder head in four quadrants. The desirable squish dimension is .020".
Adjust your base gasket thickness accordingly.
If no gasket use a thin layer of Yama bond or Honda bond as a gasket.

Yep. What W8YE says.
I often leave out the base gasket when I hop up an engine, and have never had a problem using only Yamabond. When I do use a gasket, I make one out of the cover off a spiral notebook, file folders, cereal boxes, whatever has the thickness I want. Never had a gasket made this way blow out or leak. In fact, I had the cylinder get loose on one of my 30cc engines. (So THAT'S why it wouldn't idle down right on that last landing....) Anyway, the gasket was fine. I just cleaned and added Loctite once again to the bolts and reinstalled/tightened them, using the same gasket. Engine has run fine for several years.
Harbor Freight sells a great little kit of gasket hole cutters that is invaluable for making gaskets.
