Default what to do with 1/8 buggy now

I just got a 1/10 buggy and now im figuring out what i shoulddo with my existing 1/8 buggy.
New track in the area isnt big enough to use it on. and i hve no otherplace to use it really as a buggy.
Im thinking
1) sell it but probably only get 200$ if lucky
2) turn into a truggy..No idea what i need to do besides tires.
3) anyway to turn a buggy into a rally car or a truck???

As far as spur gear i dont think i can chnge it so ill be really limited on how far i can turn down the speed.<br type="_moz" />

What buggy do you have? Most modern truggies these days are buggy based but have a longer chassis, longer arms and rims with little or no offset. That's a lot of stuff to change out and it'll get expensive in a hurry with arms, chassis, cvd's and turnbuckles. In the old days truggies were just buggies with really wide offset wheels. That route is a lot easier.

Going truck or Rally is easier. Short course bodies fit 1/8 buggies really well and there's Rally bodies to fit SC trucks as well as ones from Deltaplastic. Attaching some body posts to the shock towers isn't too hard and you might get lucky and be able to use the wing mount in the rear.

Spur gear might be a slight problem depending on the car and tire size you go with. If yours came in Truggy trim its likely there's a larger spur available. If not the diffs have a different lower ratio and can be swapped in.

well a 1/8th buggy shares the same wheel base as a 1/10th scale SCT so if you figure a way to mount bumpers on it you can run it like that

its a discontinued caster buggy.
im reallyup in the air about it. if i sell it ill probably buy a drift car. fixing it to something else will probably cost the same. Or i could even keep the motor and turm my mgt into electric and sell the bugy as a roller.

The Fusion EX-1?

I converted mine to a 1/10th scale 4x4 short course truck. Easy to do. The only trick was shortening the arms to make it legal width.

The Fusion EX-1 is a clone of the Mugen MBX5. It might be "outdated" but it's still a VERY good buggy.

You can also get some 17mm monster truck rims and tires and turn it into a monster basher.
