Zenoah G62 ei conversion?
Does anyone recognize this G62 conversion? I tried to find Cunningham, Bennett conversion pics of zenoah g62 engines and none look like this one. Engine was bought from estate sale with no information on it. Trying to figure out how old this conversion is and what voltage of battery I should use. Im figuring 4.8 nicad but want to make sure before hooking it up.

Looks like a early Ralph Cunningham conversion sporting a Spehar muffler
Later Cunningham G62's had the electronics in a Bennett style cup. They also have the carb mounted closer to the head and turned so the throttle will be a straight pull. The later ones had a external pulse line.
Spehar mufflers went out of business but a Chinese company now makes a knockoff listed on the bay.

Dat be a G-62 with an early CH Electronics Module mount. The only thing missing would be a Bosch Cap. CH used this design for years, Later ones had a fixed timing ring with a Syncro Spark added for timing.
Locking the timing ring is easy so is adding a SS.
