Shipping crate for Y/A F-16?
I need to ship My Y/A F-16 from the west coast to the east cost. I was thinking of making a wood crate. The model is built with the wings glued on and glassed. The model still need to be painted. Does anyone have any ideas on the best way to ship this jet?

I sold a Y/A F-16 fully built, I shipped it on Greyhound Express cross country for only $59.00 Greyhound charge, $25.00 heavy duty box made, & $10.00 packing material.
Jet arrived in excellent condition.

I found a manufacture of corrugated boxes on the yellow pages locally.
You have to just look around and call on your local yellow pages.
I had them make a double corrugated with the measurements I needed.
But remember not to make it longer then 74"-75" witch is the max length for Greyhound Express.
