Gp 123 ??
Anyone flying a GP 123? I've met a couple of IMAC guys that like the GP engines, and they seemed to run very well when I saw one fly. But, I"m wondering if anyone has had problems? I've got a new Aeroworks 100cc Yak 55 that needs a motor. I'm not a huge DLE fan, but don't know that I want to pop for a DA 120 either. I'm hesitant to buy a new motor brand, because, well.... I had two Mintors. Enough said. Also, it's disturbing that both Valley View and Taildragger announced that they would be carrying GP and those plans seems to have fallen apart.
Back to the point: If you have one, what do you think of the GP 123?

This has me very interested as well as I am in need of a 120 size engine myself. I have been debating on just making one or buying one of these. I know there was some issues early on with the 123 but that was taken care of. There is a long long thread on the engine, shows how it is made and the materials used and a good chance to get to know the manufacturer and his views over at FG's engine forum.

Well.......FWIW, I have one (V2) in a "Pilot" Yak55.......insane power (29x9W "Falcon").......(I also have the "DLE" 120 & a couple "EME" 120's)......not a lot of time on it, maybe 5 gals. of fuel......no problems......I don't care for the "Straight" spark/plug design......"DLE" & EME are "Angled" plugs
