Mamba Max Pro Esc with 1/8 Scale Motor from LRP

Anyone know if it will matter if I use a Castle Mamba Max Pro Esc with a LRP 2200kv 1/8 Scale Dynamic 8 Brushless Motor with a 3s battery.

I've run a MMP on 4s with a Losi Excelerion(?) 2000kv motor before, it was fine. Just watch esc temps.
