Default Nexus 30 advice

I was given a nexus 30, it been sitting in the guy's basement for who knows how long, it required a good bit of cleaning. the engine was gummed up but it didnt take much free up. It appears to be hardly flown. I figured I would learn to fly on it but I'm sure I'll crash it sooner or later and I am having some difficulty trying to locate parts. Having this given to me has made me very eager to get back into the hobby. Its been too long, 9 years in fact. Any help and tips are much appreciated.

My tip (and I owned 3 of those) is to put it back on a shelf and buy a TRex or something modern that you can get parts for and restore the Nexus as a nostalgia project.
