But i have had a much different experince with ym evader i ahve broken 2 parts int he alomst 2 ears i have had my truck. Both were my fault from jumping on to the road.I dotn see how people get low quality out of them.there is a warenty on all the prone to breakage parts and yet people still say they are trash. Why?

I have hear that the Gas evaders are good... I am just starting my collection. Currently buying an RC10GT >>Team<< from "Adudewholikesnitro". Big improvement over my st-15.

So soon i will have an ST-15 and an RC10. Oh yeah, i also have one of those 1:64 microsizers...
Someday i might get a tamiya 4wd street electric to mess with...

I've heard good things about the evaders. I shouldn't bash Duratrax completely, just the Axis. The Axis is a pile, There is always something breaking, cheap pot metal ring and pinions, Ofna is a lot more durable. I tried to race the Axis for 1 race what a joke.If you sit it next to an Ofna or Mugen or any other brand you can see the difference in quality..The evader looks like an Rc10 copy,so it might be decent.

I had my Duratrax Overdrive ST for over a year and not one thing has broke on it. I'm not saying I drive carfully but roll after roll it holds up very good. I guess its because there is only a few plastic parts......i like all of the shiny blue aluminum

My collection is small...Nitro TC3 and the Overdrive. Nothing special but a lot of fun!

You guys need to quit bashing duratrax. You are talking about total different trucks these days especially when you get into the pro line.

Sure there were inferior components on all of them three years ago...Lets face it, Traxxas which is a hot item today, would have to been at the bottom of my list three years ago. Back then is was Losi, but now all companies have improved their models and can race side by side.

I think the duratrax pro line RC cars are by far a best value for your money these days... For under 300.00 bucks you can get a tricked out pro model with all the trick parts we used to buy seperate to get up to race speed..

Hey After over 2 gallons in my duratrax MT pro it is still running strong.

Btw I raced the electric buggies for years. But then these nitro’s came out, man it sure is fun to get the ole nitro RC cars and trucks out when the RC car race session is hopping. Nitro RC rocks.........

Current RC Car/Truck inventory....

Kyosho Ultimate....
Hyper Drive belt transmission...
Trinity P2K super mod dyno...
Duratrax needle spiked with tractor treed fronts...
Novak T-4 ESC
KO pro 3 channel wheel with HS servos...
This is my most wining electric racer...

Cloud Buster pretty much stock...

HPI 1/8 scale Proceed with a HPI Nitro Star Pro .21R SC has been clocked at 76mph,... By far my fastest car... Only problem with it is finding a big enough clear parking lot!

Associated RC10GT...
O.S. .15 CV-RX

Duratrax MT pro....
6061 T-6 2.5mm thick purple-anodized aluminum chassis
TORQ .16 ABC engine and all the other aluminum anodized heavy duty parts and cool hop up parts in the pro series...

All these cars perform well in their categories... but If I am just grabbing one for some fun driving it would the MT pro... 40+mph, wheelies all day and is an awesome jumper...

I don't know whats wrong with all your Duratrax trucks...I guess I bought the toughest 1 and like I said....I put that thing through hell and the only thing that happend was I lost a tiny set screw for my front diff joint wich set me back 50 cents. I think that is the most durable truck I/v ever seen.

FINALLY!!!! Someone who feels the same way I do about Duratrax. They are such good truck/cars for the money. ok, shure you can spend $700 on a truck and beat the crap out of a Duratrax but if I put in $200 in to mine, I could easily be close behind....

I hear you.... And I will pit my duratrax right next to any other 2WD MT truck on the market and I bet I can be right in the mix of things... It's funny I have some buddies that are big Traxxas and Associated fans yet they want to drive my duratrax truck! Why it's called FUN FACTOR... Mine really does haul tail and will do great wheelies which is a blast... Unlike thier all hoped up 700.00 4WD.. Sure put me on a track with them and they are faster and will out handel me, but I don't see them getting the oh yeas, like when I get a good wheel stand going! Not that I don't like the 700.00 plus setups... Heck I have a 1/8 scale that has more than that in it....

But I still have to say my duratrax MT pro has to one of the better deals I have gotten on RC stuff... It was under 300.00 including the purchase of Futaba radio to go with it.

It's all about the fun=cost factor
